My Vikes are on a winning streak. Watch out NFC North.

Favre is a better QB than Vick, no question, he can read defenses much better and is by far a more accurate passer.

It was a GREAT win against ATL, the whole week I was sure they'd get crushed, but if you've watched the Packers as I have you see potential, here's what I see.

If the Pack can even win 5 - 8 games this year, Favre will come back, because he sees the possibilities in next year.

The Pack has been ripped by injuries this year, but while those stacked up some other players stepped up, and played well. Robert Ferguson and Antonio Chatman for example, they'll both be great slot WRs next year due to being thrust in as #2 WRs, they're getting good play time, and next year Favre will have 4 solid WRs to throw to.

The defense has been surprisingly solid, and that's all thanks to Jim Bates. The Pack picked up a steal at saftey in the draft, and are lucking out that the horrendous Ahmad Carroll is not getting as many penalties and passes thrown his way. By letting go of Cletidus Hunt guys like Cullen Jenkins have filled in and played better than the previous high-paid DT.

Wells, the backup center took over a gaurd spot, and in doing that Samkon Gado rushes for 103 yards & 2 TDs (caught a 3rd). Looks like they're solving their line problems.

The only question mark for next year is RB. Both Davenport and Green are up to be resigned, and I'm pretty sure only one of them will be, right now my money would be on Najeh Davenport. Gado has been a nice spark, but he's raw and unskilled, I like seeing a 1AA running back getting some starting time but he's probably not the long term answer.

A saftey, and a cornerback and a running back in the draft and the Pack could be back on top!

Wow - I think that was the ugliest Monday night game that I've ever watched. I hate to see Favre go out like this but it might be time for him to pack his cleats up and retire. I just can't see this Packers team getting back in contention any time soon.

Actually I think the Packers are one good Guard and Saftey away from being back in contention. The Pack has lost Javon Walker, their best WR, 3 running backs, and two LBs to injuries. They also lost both starting Gaurds to free agency.

I see them being a few free agnecy pick ups and a good draft away from being back on top of the North.

The Bears can't score TDs
The Vikings can usually only win in a range of 7 - 10 games with Tice
And the Lions are a mess.

The Pack could be back as soon as next year, but it'll take some right front office moves.

Maybe but the Bears are close to being very, very good. That defense is so damn good that they won't need much production from the offense. If the Viqueens nut up and fire Tice, they could be pretty decent. The Lions, well, they will always stink as long as Ford retains ownership.

Green is old enough that he might not return to productivity and that packer O-Line might be the worst in the NFL (this side of Texas, anyway). I'm not even a Packer fan and I hate seeing Favre go out like this. The guy just looks miserable.
