Griz vs nau

Get the low down on Griz Football and the FCS

Postby Grizbacker1 on Sat Nov 05, 2005 6:46 pm

Catz,

If you had bothered to read it you would know the answer, some of your fellow kitty your fans started calling Griz fans and talking smack before the game was even over. One of them posted about the calls on here so we made our comments in response. DUH! :finger:

No fight intended. I went to the game for the first 3 quarters and it was a game effort by Sac. The folks around me complained that this was typical bobcat football, playing down to the level of the competition. Sac had 1 good drive all game to score. Their other TD was the result of a tipped pass that should have been caught...

Provided we stay focused, I see us putting the wood to Sac St., the cats should lose at EWU and we should win a barnburner in Bozeman and host a playoff game on the 26th...

HEY, DON'T DO THE WAVE WHEN THE GRIZ HAVE THE BALL!!!

grizbacker, for the record:

"So we play far under our best and win 23-0 and the kitties will somehow think they did better, oh yeah, and I see they couldn't even sellout, now talk about FAIR WEATHER fans, the cats will lose at EWU"

To me, that indicates nothing had been said yet but you are assuming we will.

Sorry I overestimated your grasp on the English language.

I actually hope Cal Poly makes it post season...but if I remember they lost to UC Davis so I think it's going to be tough for them again this year. That's too bad because they are a good team.

Done. ;)

Grats on the win by the way, your defense and special teams are very good. Although watching the Griz passing game was like getting a root canal. :)

I think what backer is talking about is that a Cat friend of mine called ribbing me about how bad the Griz looked against NAU when the score was 10-0 (just before we exploded with interceptions). I mentioned that I was listening to my buddy telling me how good the Cats played today etc etc etc.
No big deal.....but you did come late into the conversation.....let's talk about something else

I don't even know what you folks are arguing about. Both Montana teams won today - quit your whining.

Agreed. I heard that Hauck (or one of the coaches) was interviewed after the game and said that Cole was really sick. I hope that was the case. The D and special teams are so solid that it's more important that whoever the Griz have playing qb doesn't make mistakes.

That would make me a happy camper. I've seen him play and he's a stud.

who calls our plays???? Can we fire him by next week?????

Postby cannonball on Sat Nov 05, 2005 7:01 pm

It is wonderful we won today. Would have been a lot more wonderful if our offense would have scored. NAU is the worse team in the conference and our offense puts up 0000000000000 points on the board!!!

Hand off to Hllliard on 1st and 2nd down and pass incomplete on 3rd. Sound familiar?? NAU sure thought so. Punt, punt, punt. Bobby, you, we need a new offensive coordinator. Current boy has no, know, no, imagination.

We need a change in play calling before the State game or we are in big trouble. The Mickey Mouse play calling we saw today ought to work againts Sac State, hopefully, the second worse team in the conference, but beyond that Bobby, your offenfsive play calliing is just that , OFFENSIVE!!!!!!!!

Phew...big ups to the Griz D & special teams! What's our turnover margin now after all of those freak'n interceptions in the 4th? Woot!

Griz!

Couple of questions:

Was Washington seriously injured on that last play? (take a knee mmkay?)

And also, how in the *#$( did ISU win that game? PSU took the lead with like 22 seconds left!
