This was an amazing game all around. Talk about a see-saw battle. The Griz had to work hard for this one. My voice is the most hoarse it's ever been so I'm glad I only have to type this.
This gives the Griz a 6-6 conference record and solidifies 3rd place in the Big Sky Conference by virtue of a season sweep of Idaho State. I'm looking forward to the conference tournament, but nothing could top this!
Take it away, TrueGriz...

I guess you be expecting me, Jimus. 7,094 fans watched a great game, especially the second half. First half neither team looked good except Bobcats started quickly.
Steve Horne had one heck of a game, 20 points and 12 rebounds.
David Bell had 19 points and Criswell had 14 points.
Marcus Rosser was big on the boards with 10 rebounds.
Griz turned the ball over only 6 times. Awesome.
But what helped alot with winning this game was defense.
Man, the end of the game, the crowd really got loud. Haven't heard that loud since early '80s.
It was a great game - very exciting. Overall a great crowd, even though there were a lot more than 700 emplty seats.
This may sound stupid, but did anyone else think that early in the 2nd 1/2 the score was wrong on the scoreboard? After Montana tied it, we traded a couple baskets, Montana State hit a 3 to our 2, and suddenly they were up by 5, and I think I thought it should have been 3. All the people around me were asking the same thing. I think Coach Kennedy asked the ref, they but they shrugged it off. Maybe the rows in front of and behind me had a brain freeze, but did anybody else notice this?
David Bell hit a two that was counted as a three, so they took a point off a couple minutes later when they saw the replay. The reason for that long delay was to get it all straightened out. It was the right call. Bell's foot was definitely on the line.

i think the difference in the game was the play of horne. if he doesn't make half those spinning acrobatic one on one moves, the griz lose. a fun player to watch. he sure picked a good night to have his best game of the year. The cat freshman shea washington made rosser and venters look goofy. he will be a good player next year. i think rosser and venters have to be the biggest disapointment to griz fans. for the last couple of years they have been hyped on chat pages as going to be great players. last year people said it was holst's system, what's the deal this year?
