How do you tell where you left off now with old and new messages? I don't see where there is a color change in the ones I have already read. Am I missing something?
The text should be the same size as it was before but I will doeuble check and change it if it is now different.
As far as too narrow, it is back to the way it used to be and is the standard page width for websites.
If you read the post I made in the announcements forum, it will help you out a lot.
As for the link to chage the info in your profile, click the profile link above and look just below the adverisments to the right and you will see a link to change your profile info.
I am also moving this post to the eGriz.com ideas forum.

the posts that you have already read are grey and the posts that you havn't read are maroon, just as before!
The problem I have is the text is too tiny right now.
I changed the text size in the posts to be larger. Did this make things better? If you were talking aboout other text on the Board, please let me know what text you were talking about!
I don't like it... there are no borders, the graphics look funky... the main page is a lot wider than the individual boards, the text boxes don't mesh together well...
that is just my opinion.
After review, it looks way better in IE. Firefox apparently doesn't load correctly and looks like complete crap.

I use Safari at home and IE on the road and it displays fine in both. The text does appear smaller, but my face it always too close to the screen anyway because of the Men's Room.
I think it looks more streamlined and professional. I congratulate Chris for taking a chance on implementing change to look better for the type of traffic he gets.
This might be the thing that (finally) gets me over the hump to drop some money on the poor lug and become a paid member. I'd hate to see the site go away because a labour of love got too expensive to maintain.
Also, I like that the ads are smaller and at the top. With all due respect to Re/Max, who is cool for supporting the site with advertising, I just prefer to avoid ads online.
Now back to my prattling!
GO GRIZ!

Looks like you're seeing the same thing that I am from home. Try it from a different computer if you can and it will look way different! Also, go to Sudoku and see if you get just 9 boxes drawn on the screen or 81. (I'm betting you get 9, but I can't really bet because I only have 5 egriz bucks after this post!)

Mine are all the same color. Is there a place to change that?

I agree with CatsWillRise -- when you pull it up in Internet Explorer it looks like Chris obviously intended it to look. In Firefox, I was wondering how anyone could see it as an improvement. Probably the most annoying problem to me was the absence of any border between the userid/avatar area and the left edge of the text in the posts.
Firefox users -- over the weekend, I downloaded an extension called Prefbar 3.2.2.
Among other functions, it has a little dropdown menu where you can tell Firefox to pretend it is Internet Explorer. I'm using that now to view the forum in its intended format.
