Look, I understand if this church is out there to combat homosexuality, it's their cause, great, good for them. But to cheer AT THE TROOPS funerals for the bombs that killed them? Thats just sick.
I applaud these bikers who go out of their way to show the American Citizen's love for their troops.

These are the same freaks who protested at Matthew Shepard's funeral in Wyoming and at another funeral for a hate-crime murder in California. They are quite literally a bunch of severely inbred wackos who seem to hate virtually everyone and everything in the name of (a loving?) God.
I support their right to protest ... but man, it's hard to hold the line on freedom of speech when people are that depraved. What's the law regarding tossing people in the loony bin?
This might be the same group that used to send a couple wackos along with a couple young kids (5 to 10 years old, probably) to different campuses to set up in the middle of campus and yell at everybody and tell us we were all going to hell. Outside of the presence of the kids, it was a good freak show. But when you see that they have these otherwise cute kids yelling such ugly things ("Faggots! Whores! Burn in Hell!", yada, yada, yada), it really makes you wonder at what point religious freedom ends and severe mind-f**** of children (child abuse) begins. They hit MSU two or three years in a row when I was there ... and the only thing they accomplished was to push people even further away from their ideals. Even right-wing students would walk away from them feeling like they needed a shower.

The members of the Phelps family are wacko. They also are Democrats. The old man ran 3 times for governor of Kansas as a Democrat. He also ran in 92 for the US Senate, and got more than 30 percent of the vote in the Democratic primary. His son did fundraisers for Gore/Clinton.

Were they this wacko when they were running for office? I can't imagine any party (other than perhaps Nazi) embracing them in any significant way. Shame on those Democrats that did.
My roommate is from Kansas, and I have had many opportunities to say this over the years, and this is yet another example. "Dude, what the f*** is wrong with Kansas?!!!"
