Hello, all you Griz guys and gals, the UD ChickenMan has joined the fray and where is that old furry butted grizn2003??? I have taken him to task many times on the 1aa board and welcome the chance to do the same on his home field.

Wecome ChickenMan......

It's nice to have you over. I have the handle of grizn2003 over on the 1AA board because I wanted to identify with the Griz 2003 season destiny. Here buddy you will just refer to me as ronbo.

Your initial post is rather weak considering that you consider yourself the nations ultimate football smackmaster.

I'll get you started with this. Considering the talent the Griz have coming back this year and the quality transfers we've gotten in I would predict a 48-21 spanking the Griz would put on the Delaware "cluckin chickens" if we were to play this year.

Thanks for not booing. Go Griz! Carpe Diem!

ronbo.... I didn't want to enter by kicking the door down, but how's this? 48-21 you are entitled to your opinion, but you know what they say about opinions? Opinions are like A-holes, everyboby's got one. I do have to tell you that your predition is much like the many we heard from them GSU fans just last year, prior to the opener with them. Them Eaglets were predicting a cakewalk too, but guess what, there are no "cakewalks" when you play them Roosters. The Eaglets were sent back down tobacco road, trailers included, with their feathers stuck between their legs. As for UD/UM who knows, but if we both do what is expected, a December rematch of the classic 93' playoff game could be in order. This time in Henville!

What's Delaware's message board? By the way, you've used up your total allotment of referring to the Griz as "cubbies" or me as "Dimus." It got real old real quick over on the I-AA board. Enjoy your stay I guess. Cat fans are all over on some sh!tty ESPN board if you're looking for them.

Brownie.... all us Roosters learned that trick way back in 93', while we were celebrating the playoff win in Grizzly Washington Stadium!

A 2003 rematch would be fitting. 10 years since you totally lucked out to beat us at our house in the playoffs. I don't think it's been done since. Help me out here someone. Have we lost a home playoff game since them chickies from Delaware?

10 year anniversary, sweet revenge.

Let's see now, IF you make the playoffs you'd have to go through Statesboro to get to us because of Regional play. You got the grit in you to beat them Eaglets at their house?

ronbo.... If the Griz hasn't lost a home playoff game since that UD game in 93', that's one hellava home field advantage. But maybe you should be concerned with the old "law of averages" catching up to UM. As for the Roosters, your right, to get to the finals we would not doubt have to get by GSU and we are 2-2 vs them, but I'd much rather face them in Henville. But first things first, we have to make the playoffs, which we have missed the past two years. I really like the Rooster's chances this year, but right now probably most of 1aa feels the same way. We open 9/6 at home vs the Citadel and I expect a win there, in fact the schedule is very favorable early and UD could be 6-1 or 7-0 going into the Navy game in late October. After that it's tough, as we finish with Maine, @N'eastern, UMass and @Villanova.

Sorry to burst the bubble but we lost to Youngstown State Tux Birds at Washington Grizzly under Mick in like 99. It was a crappy game, and as I recall, our good bye to Mick D.

Welcome chickenman, and thanks for bringing your "I wish my team was as good as the Griz, but I know we never will be despite one brief shinning moment 10 years ago" clucking to our house.

Yes it is true the Griz have lost 2 times at home in playoff games. The first one to Deleware in 1993 by 1 point, the other to Youngstown St. by a field goal while the clock hit 00:00! Damn those were tough ones to lose. Our combined wins at home playoff games are 14 wins, 2 loses; with a combined score of Griz 672 Opposition 249, that is an average score of 42-15 per game. How do you like that chicken"INHAND"man. Back when Delaware beat us in our house our stadium only held 12,000 fans 10,000 shy of where we will be this year. Hope you can find your way to Missoula this year I would like to meet ya'll chicken chokers.

You've doubled the stadium size in 10 years? It just goes to show you what winning will do.

The old CM has plenty of gas left in the tank, but I haven't seen a fire worth throwing it on yet
