Good for them, now maybe they can get that Ballpark finished and paid for. I see the Diamondbacks extended the contract another 4 years.

I think it was a done deal when Ozbeck Castillo took the mound. That guy is awesome. I won't be surprised to see him in a Diamondbacks uniform in a couple of years. Way to go Osprey!

The Osprey and Diamondbacks have had 14 players reach the Major Leagues after starting their careers in Missoula. They are Lyle Overbay, Duaner Sanchez, Jose Valverde, Andy Green, Scott Hairston, Miguel Montero, Dustin Nippert, Tony Pena, Luis Terrero, J.D. Closser, Casey Daigle, Jorge De La Rosa, Doug Devore, and Jerry Gil.

I went to the Blue Jay's/M's game at Safeco Wed afternoon. Had my boss' season tickets right up front between home plate and the visitor dugout (!). When Lyle Overbay was on deck the first time I shouted, "Yo Lyle! Pioneer League MVP, '99 baby!" or something like that. I was already three sheets to Sunday. Anyway he smiles and gives me the little #1 finger. Good stuff. He was probably the only one who knew what I was talking about!

Good to hear, got to make a few O's games this year. Nice job, boys.
