Get the low down on Griz Football and the FCS

Postby Zootown Rox on Sat Oct 21, 2006 3:19 pm

We need to be able to play O in the fourth quarter and not just try to run out the clock, anyway let's get the onside kick and end this one.

How many TOs does WSU have left?

Griz recover onside kick (freshman from Noxon). Can run it out now.

GO GRIZ!!. You're going to give me a heartattack if you keep making it close like this. But, GREAT ROAD CONFERENCE WIN!!!

Despite some hiccups, the OL was much improved. Seriously, after last week, facing Weber on the road with 2 weeks to prepare, How many of you really expected 35o yards passing, 33 points despite missing several scoring opps?

Man - this team hasn't put together a complete game yet and they are still winning. If they are ever able to get all three aspects of their game (offense, defense, special teams) clicking at the same time, they will be fearsome.

This sux. The Cats who couldnt beat unknown Div 2 teams a few weeks ago are dominating in conf play, and we are squeaking out wins against the cellar dwellers in a horrible BSC. What the hell? Each week with us its something different. Come on guys let's get it all together and kick some a$$ one of these days.

Dominating? Did you happen to see them implode against Sac State? Any Bobcat will tell you that they weer damn lucky to win it.
as for the previos poster saying we haven't dominate a game yet, what about 59-14 over sac, the same team that msu barely beat, and that beat EWU.

I was pretty negative last week, but i feel 100% better about this win than I did about that one..

PLAYCALLING- IMPROVED = better offense=better team

defense will come around again
Don't take me too seriously, I am a little crazy about Griz football....and I am right.

Just my opinion, but I think that the Cats are playing better ball than the Griz right now.

Dominating? Well against the WORST offense in the BSC, we just about had our asses handed to us. Yet, the pussies manage to win, considering thier piss poor start, I would say a 35-25 win (at least) against what was in my mind a superior ISU team is a dominating effort, at least compared to our performances the past two weeks.

Don't get me wrong. I'm NOT a Bobby basher, in fact, quite the opposite. But, I'm not at all happy with the past two games. This is not the team I though it would be a month ago.

I thought we were a ton better offensively today. The D was obviously not ready to play the fisrt half. But we put up 33 on the best D in the conference, or so the experts said. I will take the W. If we get the same level of improvement in the next week, it works for me. I am about the W's, they aren't all gonna be Picasso's, ok maybe that is a bad analogy since Picasso's are strange.

OK. I appreciate a W as much as anyone. Course, I'm a Bears fan and after last week............... This Griz team has all the ingredients, but they just aren't coming together. I'll remain patient, and hope for the best. Its frustrating seeing how close we are to the good old days of blowing everyone out, yet to almost puke two weeks in a row against inferior opponents.. its a bit much for my system to handle. I can only drink so much...

Try drinking more each day during the week. You need to be in better drinking condition or you may have to give up your starting barstool. I don't want to have to have this chat again. now drink up :drinking:
