Get the low down on Griz Football and the FCS

Postby NVGRIZFan on Sat Nov 04, 2006 3:19 pm

This was one hell of a mark for the Griz. When you beat a team like CP, it prove something and it gets others attention. My son was a stud and I know that little sh*t is kickin in Washington Griz and he will be watching every Saturday. Thank you all for your support, but it is GRIZ time. Here we come December!!!!!

NVGriz,

My thoughts and prayers for you and your's.

That last drive by the Griz reminding me of the DRIVE by John Elway and the Denver Broncos from years ago. We simply would not be denied. I couldn't believe that 4th an 13 conversion. Unbelievable after the way the O played today.

Nice Win Griz!!! The way CP played today, we may not have seen the last of them.

Sometimes I like to pretend like I am playing...little nerf football...So far on the year I've thrown for just under 3,000 yards, but the Northern Arizona pass coverage held me to ony 230 yards passing, BUT I managed to scramble for 76, so s'all good.

I turn up the speakers and go in to the back yard and throw the crap out of the ball. My trees are 1000 yard recievers.

TB,

Even you gotta give the O credit for that drive. 3 times they were done and got it done! :thumb:

Yeah, I do wear my heart on my sleeve sometimes.
The O got it done when they had to but, damn! it should (IMO) never have come down to a situation where a ref's call or last minute field goal (which is not a given) can be the difference between a win or loss.

I'll enjoy the win but our offensive inefficacies leave me with some misgivings about the play-offs.
We have to do better.

To the D.....GREAT GAME!
To the O....thanks for showing up when you needed to.

I was following the play by play (great job by the way) in real time at my work, but customers kept coming up and interupting me. When I finally got back, I knew the game was over but I didn't know who had won. I almost afraid to scroll down and see bad news but thank God we pulled that one out!!

We walked down a tunnel, flipped a coin and all hell broke loose. Who ever said it was just a game, didnt step on this field.

There will be those wondering why you don't throw to the bushes. Every pass to a tree is predictable. I like the bush out of of the backfield. :drinking:

Are your trees as talented as Poly's tree. That guy was unreal. One of the best wide recievers that has played against the Griz since whats-his-name at Marshall.
