Roc.... we is a comin baby, a new era in Rooster ball has dawned, Tubby and the old Wing-T are history and KC and the band of Roosters are now headlining in 1aa. A title is on the way, as sure as death and taxes. The cubbies and eaglets are the past and them Roosters are the future!!!

Rock - you don't play Idaho State next, you play Idaho. And they're not ranked, in fact they probably wouldn't be ranked in 1AA. You should spend less time talking smack and more time studying up on your team!!! Weren't you the one that thought Johny Peoples was still on the Griz team? :P That's pretty funny.

Roc.... maybe you need to study up a little on your cubbies or is it that you is still befuddled over that nasty loss to a DII??? Them Roosters have got a DII themselves this week, mighty West Chester St. I have a feelin the Roosters will show you cubbies how you is supposed to handle those inferior opponents. Ole West Chester's only hope is that "Isabel" blows through Henville and cancells the game.

Show us how to handle inferior opponents chickenman, and we'll show you how to handle REAL National Championship hardware times two....not DivII trophy(s).

Maybe you're a little bit testy, mad, cranky, and out-of-sorts now that the University of Montana Grizzlies bring in the more fans than Delaware...jeez, don't hate us because we have something you never will...a bigger fan base, and two National Championships (for now).

406.... you got me with that one, the cubbies do now have the biggest crowds in 1aa, but what else is there to do way out there in the hinterlands??? Spot moose, boff sheep, tip cows, go to a cubbie game or just get drunk? As for the national championship, it's a comin, just like night follows day. Our new coach and head Rooster Mr. KC, has already got the A$$kickin Chickens rollin, big time, in just his 2d year. Will the cubbies new boy be able to do the same??? Me thinks the jury is still out on that one. But, good times are ahead in Henville and all you non believers will soon see the light, that light being the front of the Rooster locomotive that is bearin down on all of 1aa!!!

Chickenman, I obviously can't speak for other "Eaglet" fans, and for none of the Grizzlies, but it's so refreshing to know that a new power in on the way. I'm sure the Montana team, (as well as our Eagles) must be a bit weary of continually having to bare the burden of being the creme of 1AA. (and yes, the Cowboys obviously). Year after year, Championship after Championship can become a wearying proposition. Thank you for the insight, and I'm sure we'll all look forward to seeing your team in post season play! Nothing could be more entertaining than playing your "Chickens".. (ooh? something just doesn't ring true when your opponents are the "Chickens"). Hope your team has a great year and maybe we can see ya at our house.

Jesse.... how "entertaining" was it the last time you cubbies played them Roosters in a playoff game???

PS: since them Roosters have already won a playoff game in cubbie land, I think it's only fair to give the cubbies a chance to return the favor in Henville!

Hey "poorgriz", Little bit tough on me considering you spend your LIFE on the eGriz site. What does that say about you....sap. Idaho ..... Idaho State...who gives a rip. It's all the same to me. Right wing wacco Idaho.

Maybe you should spend some more time worring about your pathetic little team and less time with your GRIZ envy. You'll be a happier kitty fan...HAAAA!

Chickenman, You simply must read my posts more carefully.. You see, I am a Georgia Southern Eagle fan.. (as opposed to cubbie). To be honest I don't know if we have ever played your "Chicken"s in a playoff game. I'm embarressed to say your team has no media coverage to speak of in Eagleland, and quite frankly no one has really ever heard or cares about the little chicks. I'm not trying to down the quality of your team and hope you have a very successful season.. Every section of the country (regardless of division) has it's own upcoming team and for the past few years I've just never heard much about the chicks. I have do doubt in your particular corner of the world your team is hot stuff.. Sorry, but that just doesn't translate to the rest of the country.. This past week we were played McNeese at "their house" and got our butts whipped. But we were whipped by the #3 rated team in the nation (boosted to #1 after the game). When GSU loses, it's big news.... I'm sure the fans of the Grizzlies and most GSU fans welcome new meat, come on down to "OUR HOUSE" and enjoy hospitality at its finest. If we beat you, it was expected. If we lose, we won't whine and complain. But you might be aware, a whole lot of chicken is devoured in this part of the country.. Take care and if anyone says "the chicken crossed the road to stay out of the Eagle or Grizzles way" take it in jest.. Have a good day.

Jesse.... I always knew you Goobers were dense, but you must have "alzheimer's if you can't recall the whippin the Roosters layed on them eaglets just last September. And what kind of alleged GSU fan can't recall the two playoff games between the Roosters and eaglets??? Not even a stump jumpin Billybob could be that dopey. Me smell's a fox in the henhouse. One more question Goober, do all alleged eaglets look like this???

Chickenman, As sad as it might be, I recollect none of the aforementioned contests.. I wasn't released from the home until very late last season, so perchance missed em' entirely.. Also medication oftentimes will cloud the aged mind. Things this season have mightily improved.. Zoloft helped, but I credit my new understanding to forums just such as this. If I was in error, I apologize... Now to relevant observations regarding "this season"..... Our team is young, we have yet to master our triple option, we have been soundly defeated by another 1AA team. Our quality QB appeared to be out of sync in the McNeese game, as did the other members of the offense.. Our defense appeared slow and unprepared. It is easy to think that because of that particular game our Eagles won't fly much this season.... Wrongamondo Mr. Chickenman. We always improve as each game passes, and "generally" peak during postseason. (or have at least 6 times in the past). Again, I wish you a good day, and your team a successful game on Saturday.. Oh yeah, the features of the gentleman in the photo do appear vaguely familiar. Best Wishes

chickenman,

If you are a hunter, that hunts anything larger than German Sheppard sized deer then you would understand what else there is to do out here in the "hinterlands". Spot moose? Try gettin' a late season moose tag. Boff sheep? Come out here and try to get a sheep tag, let alone get within 500 yards of one to "boff" it. I've lived here for a long time and still haven't got one.

Tip cows? OK, guilty on that one. "Go to a cubbie game or just get drunk?" Actually, we kill two chickens...I mean birds... with one stone on that one.

I think the only people that should fear the "Rooster locomotive" are the fans that might get run over by it while they are in Chattanooga watching their respective teams play. So fans of the Griz, GSU, McNeese, W. Ill., and UMass...BEWARE...stay off the tracks. Besides seeing some great football, why in the world would Delaware be in Tennessee in late December anyway?

406.... me thinks you call that "whistling by the graveyard" but that's OK, cause them Roosters are soon to be the "REAPERS" of 1aa.

Seems to me we racked up an equally impressive win and did it much more efficiently. Seems you had to do a lot more running and passing for the SAME outcome.

Lets look at a few facts and compare these games:

According to Sagrin you are ranked 106th in the nation...ouch.
You played a team ranked 142nd in the nation.

Impressive!

We are ranked 81st and played a team ranked 130th. Obvioulsy a team 12 full positions ahead of Richmond. We lost to a Div II team and are still ranked 25 teams ahead of you. Now, this was hardly a great test for us...Maine was much better, and as you know, we squashed them. NDSU appears to have been a flook. You on the other hand are doing and playing the way you always do...(yawn) Keep in mind, the last time a rinky-dink team beat us in our home opener, we proceeded to go undefeated to a National Title. HMMM, makes ya think huh?

You know you love us. Come on! Throw away that chicken crap and join the Griz Nation. You'll love being GRIZ. We'll welcome you with open arms...like a lost chid returning home.

Point of order...Sagarin does not include DivII games in it's rankings. If it did, then the Griz would definitely be dragging up the rear in this category.
