Where's the "O"

155 rushing and only 109 passing, :o vs Sam Houston St, that won't do! The Big Sky looks to be very competitive this season and the cubbies had best get the "O" in gear or it could be ugly.

Two thoughts that all in Grizville seem to have over looked.

Why in the world did we not realize these things?
Thanks to our baryard friend in Delaware for helpin' us see the light! Things should be different now!

406.... there seems to be a lot of "bailing" going on in Missoula, did a monsoon hit out there? A tad bit of an overreaction I'd say. The cubbies are 2-1 and 0-0 in the conference, NOTHING has been lost and all goals are still achievable. Maybe Griz fans expected the transition period with the new coach and QB to go a little smoother than has been the case, but sometimes it does take a while to get things in gear. I have a feeling that in a few weeks all will be well in cubbie land.

I'm reading SMACK on our O..? Strange? I could have sworn that we beat Sam by 24 FRIGGIN POINTS! For those for the east coast...thats three touchdowns and a fieldgoal. I don't think I can stand the shame.

We got a new coach and 2 new QB's. Seems pretty natural to me that we start somewhat slow. I think there is a lot of wishful thinking concerning our prospects this year.

GrizRockhead.... apparently some of you cubbies don't read too good, try rereading BOTH of my posts and maybe you'll get the drift. As for your "big" win, the points were impressive but the "O", with only 109 yrds passing :o wasn't! But here's somethin that is pretty impressive!

So you won by seven more points...

Postby GrizRoc on Tue Sep 16, 2003 1:12 pm

Seems to me we racked up an equally impressive win and did it much more efficiently. Seems you had to do a lot more running and passing for the SAME outcome.

Lets look at a few facts and compare these games:

According to Sagrin you are ranked 106th in the nation...ouch.
You played a team ranked 142nd in the nation.

Impressive!

We are ranked 81st and played a team ranked 130th. Obvioulsy a team 12 full positions ahead of Richmond. We lost to a Div II team and are still ranked 25 teams ahead of you. Now, this was hardly a great test for us...Maine was much better, and as you know, we squashed them. NDSU appears to have been a flook. You on the other hand are doing and playing the way you always do...(yawn) Keep in mind, the last time a rinky-dink team beat us in our home opener, we proceeded to go undefeated to a National Title. HMMM, makes ya think huh?

You know you love us. Come on! Throw away that chicken crap and join the Griz Nation. You'll love being GRIZ. We'll welcome you with open arms...like a lost chid returning home.

GG.... the correct answer would be FIVE . But the future is what counts as the past is history, much like the cubbie's dominance of the BSC! And them Roosters are the future power in 1aa!

Hey barn-yard foul, I looked in the NCAA site for school records. Looking in the mighty hen house the record indicated NO major college championships. Looks like a Div. II title...thats it. Am I reading this wrong or have you committed a party foul? :o

No, I'm reading this right. We're talkin 1-AA titles Mister! No olden days leather helmet Div II titles! Now, now. Your team is yet to be there, yet to do that. Is that pucky on your face? :-?

I went to ncaa.org and could only find one NC for Delaware. In '79.
Division II.

Cubbies..... the Roosters were winnin National titles when the cubbies were still in hibernation. UD won has won five DII titles, (before 79' there was only DI and DII) 46' , 63', 71' 72' and 79'. UD's all time record is 583
- 381 for 60.4 % , the cubbie's only 450 - 444 for 50.3% And the new Roosters, unleased from the old Tubbester, are now on the way to a 1aa title :D

Rock - you don't play Idaho State next, you play Idaho. And they're not ranked, in fact they probably wouldn't be ranked in 1AA. You should spend less time talking smack and more time studying up on your team!!! Weren't you the one that thought Johny Peoples was still on the Griz team? :P That's pretty funny.

Roc.... maybe you need to study up a little on your cubbies or is it that you is still befuddled over that nasty loss to a DII??? Them Roosters have got a DII themselves this week, mighty West Chester St. I have a feelin the Roosters will show you cubbies how you is supposed to handle those inferior opponents. Ole West Chester's only hope is that "Isabel" blows through Henville and cancells the game.

Show us how to handle inferior opponents chickenman, and we'll show you how to handle REAL National Championship hardware times two....not DivII trophy(s).

Maybe you're a little bit testy, mad, cranky, and out-of-sorts now that the University of Montana Grizzlies bring in the more fans than Delaware...jeez, don't hate us because we have something you never will...a bigger fan base, and two National Championships (for now).
