1. The Sugar Factory / Rose Garden - for the all is right with the world gang
2. The Neggie Neggie Boo Bird Lounge - for the doom and gloomers
3. The "OK" Corral - for the fence rider/objective types who see the positives but think a lil tweakin' here and there wouldn't hurt.

Kind of an enter at your own risk thing: ie. if you want to post or browse outside of your particular clique then don't complain if somebody slams you or you don't like what you read. This way those who share similar thoughts would be free to converse without offending others and be able to post their opinions without being told they're wrong.

Just my :twocents:, but then again I've been told before that my :twocents: don't amount to much.

This is by far the best idea that I have seen. It lets posters know exactly what they are walking into.

grizfnz’s idea was interesting. But it seems he never addressed the category most needed - Insults & Bitch Slapping

Is UPWIMT locking and merging posts now?

If so does any one else have a problem with a poet merging threads.

:wtf: , Vic? You got a problem with girls and football? Two of the smartest posters on this board are girls. Wouldn't surprise me in the least if the hotties Sassy or our resident member of the Nobility were leading the fantasy picks. And God bless them if they are. I learned the hard way a long time ago that girls rule this world.

The best example I know of for this is the best football movie I ever saw, Quarterback Princess, about a Canadian girl playing HS football in Oregon. It's an in-depth look at the beginning of Title IX. And, before you male chauvinist pigs get your panties in a hizzy, yes, it's based on a true story. The movie starred a VERY young Helen Hunt of Mad About You and Pay It Forward fame.

Good Job Chris!

This is your project, and a free service you provide to us Griz fans.

There is no need for poster to bash each other because they dissagree. And the board is not just for people who know football inside and out, it is for Griz fans.

Chris has been more than nice to people on all sides, even to those who have bashed him and his site, or even spreaded completely false statements saying eGriz gave them viruses.

eGriz is not a government site, there doesn't have to be unrestricted speech. Chris doesn't have to put up with B.S. he thinks is bringing down this great site.

I could go on, but again, good job Chris, you have put a lot of time and money into this site, even before the advertising and donations. You have provide a great place for Griz fans and BSC fans to get together to talk Griz athletics and BSC athletics. And if someone doesn't respect the site and the other users, and you, then there is no reason you should have to put up with them.

wtf yourself! :moon:

By the way my WIFE was dragged by her father to Kesar (sp) stadium every week when she was young to watch the 49ers lose! She knows more about football than most posters here and if she ends up winning this thing I'm going to have to hear about it every day for the rest of the year so I do believe I have the right to say what I want about the situation without gitting a wtf from you!  :footinmouth:

Chris----as an occasional poster who was about to give up the ship on eGriz, I'd like to say "thanks" for making some positive changes---this board has improved immensely in the past week.

I just think the personal attacks have to cease----otherwise a lot of people will be driven away---it's not worth it. I particularly appreciate that JS's relative has been a regular poster, and think that she should not have to put up with some of the vindictive comments that have been made.

Thanks for that, but unfortunately, I started in late and I'm only 68% on Fantasy and 71% in my KS pool. It's definitely fun to be a part of, though!! Believe me, I would never take any comments personally (and I do believe that the comment was an "inside joke"). We all know that MOST women don't know a lot about football - it's just a fact. Those of us that truly like following football also know that it doesn't matter what sex you are when you're a FAN.

Thanks, Chris!

It is hard to believe that we Griz fans, with so much going for us, are attacking one another.

We have a great opportunity with this board. We can use it to spread good will. We can use it to offer ideas. We can communicate to the team along players' families. We could use it to help in recruiting, if some HS kids want to take a peek.

We can have a good time together.

The ripping hurts everyone.

Thanks for this post-as one of the main reasons why I chose not to post as much, or even come to the site is because of all the whining and fighting.

Just a reminder to those who do post, sometimes players, friends and families of players do visit this site-and sometimes the things said are not very supportive. Just something to consider
