Here is something to think about attendance wise - after next weeks game (3rd home game) the Griz will most likely have drawn more fans than the bobcats will for the entire season - and by our 4th game will have drawn more fans than the capacity of the bobcats for an entire season. In other words, the Griz can draw more fans for our nonconference portion of the schedule than teh bobcats can for their entire season. If the Griz lost 1/2 their fan base they would still outdraw MSU.
Absolutely right Grizbeer, I just don't like to see comments from Griz fans that MSU has bad fans simply because we only draw 10,000 per game. If MSU was going 11-1 or 10-2 every year and advancing deep into the playoffs like UM has, the stadium would be sold out every week and there would be expansion in the works if not done already. I would guess that both schools have similar amounts of "die-hard" fans, those being the fans who would still show up to every home game and support the team regardless of win/loss records.
