Yeah. Come on Cat fans. Yet another lackluster performance by the greatest QB in the history of the Big Sky.

Did anyone (other than those with the initials M.K. ) actually say Lulay is the best QB in conference history? If so, they have been #beer a bit too much or hanging out with a certain ex-defensive line coach. And by the way, the idiot who seems to have confused MSU's school nickname with Sac's DOES NOT speak for knowledgeable Cat fans.

Lulay seemed to be under pressure the entire game from the Cal Poly defensive scheme... no interceptions is a good sign, plus he's very good at escaping pressure and avoiding sacks. Not much yards but for some reason the OC didn't call more than a couple passes down the field. Best QB ever? Hell no. Best QB MSU has had since Kelly Bradley in the mid-80's? Probably. That's fine with me.

Lulay would have had a lot more completions if the receivers would hold onto the ball. Cal Poly has a very fast defense with very athletic linebackers. Its going to be a very entertaining game I think when they play the Griz. Both teams are fast/athletic off the ball. MSU's offense just did not step it up like they should have, the defense totally shut them down. What are some of you Grizzly fans prediction for the game Cal Poly game. They should smoke Idaho as they haven't even won a game yet have they?

Lulay cannot be compared to Dave Dickenson in any way/shape or form ... YES. After the Bobcats win the national championship this year though, there may be comparisons in the off season I bet.

If the Montana schools don't get their offenses going we'll both be watching not only the NC game but the playoffs take place without a MT school.
And if the Griz's CBs and LBs can't get better pass coverage we are in for an embarassing year. Because we have yet to play a passing team that is good. SHSU was an OK passing team and had their receivers been able to hold onto the ball, we would have been in a dog fight with them. Granted our WR's dropped a few as well.
We definatly have the talent on offense, and MSU definatly has the talent on defense. But EWU and NAU seem to have everything going. It is early in the season and the Idaho game will tell whether the Griz can step it up or if what you see is what you get.
