Yes, Jagur1. My MAC is on loan to a friend so I havn't updated since the end of may.

System works ok. I find it to be about .01 off per mile. But as long as it's always off .01 short I'm ok using it.

i got it have had done 4 1.5 to 3 miles jogs with it so far. That is a good start for me as I am way outa shape

When you get your mac back, we should join a challenge. I was thinking about getting a bunch of eGrizzers together and creating on big challenge.

The challenges work great. I ended up doing 90 miles more than par in April because some chick from Florida was pushing me. #laugh

I only do 20 minutes a day 6 days a week. fairly easy way time wise to stay in shape. Run hard on some days or easy on other days. April was an exception. Remember warm up and cool down. listen to your body and if you need training advice ask Griz Guy he helped me 3 years ago with some interval stuff and it really made me a lot faster.

cool, thanks. It is hard for me to understand how just 20 minutes can do anything but after I did start running a little, I do understand now.

I was thinking of getting one myself. So you guys say it works well and is accurate and all? I got a cheap kind of thing like this 2 or 3 years ago which was awful, so I had my doubt with this, but of course it's Nike we're talking about now...

No problem! I wish you all the luck! I'm all for people getting and staying fit, no matter the motivation.

And I also understand not wanting to deal with speedsters or intense types in your sport. My wife asked me to help her start running years ago and I told her no. Reason: why stress the relationship by adding a coach/coachee aspect to it? And, I knew she'd rate her performance based on my ability, which would be stupid. That'd be like me riding a bike with Lance Armstrong and feeling bad because I'm not as good. Or to put it another way, it'd be like me trying to find babes for the Men's Room that are as hot as the ones GB1 puts in there. Not gonna happen.

BTW, I took a hiatus from posting. Not that anybody misses my take on stuff, or will be happy to see me back. However, I do have some things to say (football and non-football), and I'll post more real soon. But I'm really trying hard to avoid all the UM/MSU hating going on over arrests of our respective athletes. I'm going to either let that die down a bit or just avoid it.

Congrats to Jagur1 for winning the nike+ challenge.

I didn't get to do it much due to my 3.5 week vacation.

I'll make another nike+ challenge soon!

I was all geared up and ready to put in 2 runs today (am and pm) I log on and it was over YESTERDAY. Now I don't have any plans for tonight. That MtGriz sure had me running a few extra blocks everyday.

Let's get a couple more of these going, I'm a well oiled machine now, try and beat me in the speed department.

I say we get one going for most miles (in October?), and then another for fastest mile (and/or 5k?, whatever you want), then there's competitions for both speed and distance runners.
