Murder was an aberration, crime of passion and didn't occur in Montana. Freeman was a mistake and bad apple, who has been involved in a number of the problems. We'll see what comes of Parks' deal, but it's probably just something that happens occasionally. I bet he didn't have a gun, but base that only on what some posters said. The recent event, while horrible, is an aberration, and it was led by the one clear bad apple. The talk around town is that a number of these criminal allegations will be reduced or dropped.
Honestly, are you OK with it just because it he didn't kill someone in Missoula? I doubt it. As far as being a crime of passion, I read the article and my heart went out to the kid, I could see myself in a similiar situation and maybe I would do the same... Then I remembered this is the same kid that flashed gang signs in the first team meeting when he introduced himself in front of everyone, including coaches.
Have you seen any other crimes this serious committed by a Griz? Let alone 2 very serious and violent crimes within a span of months.... Not to mention every offender in the last 5 years has been one of BH's recruits, think about that, the first 2-3 years the team consisted of and was lead by Glenn's and Dennehy's (sp?) recruits, BH's recruits are just recently taking over this team , but they account for all the blackeyes..... Abberation or not, the program suffers from this, and for everyone to just turn their head and say it was a string of bad luck is a surefire way to avoid a SOLUTION.
