I intentially avoid the game day thread on cat/griz day. Here is my opinion. Lex and the O line decided about 5 days ago that they wanted to win this game, and they did. If you take away missed assignments on the bootleg, the griz win by 35. Our defense is for real and our defensive MVP is down to three people. Biermann, Anderson, and Utterback. My vote is between Utterback and Biermann. Utterback is not flashy, but he is always there. Biermann probably won my vote by chasiing down the reciever 25 yards down the field after a reception. Colt is Mr. sure tackler. You have to give credit to D. Crawford for the Cats. They are likely 3 and 7 without him. On that note, give Ash and his staff credit for finding him. I believe in about 3 years, the Cats will be more than happy that they gave him a chance.
O.K. I saved the what I thought to be the best for last. There are plenty of haters out there, but this is by far, the best game that the offensive coordinater has called. Lex always had at least 3 yards, and when they blizted, we had an answer. Eric Allen looks like he was afraid to step on Bag's toes and looks like he did last year.
If we stay healthy, this team could bull it's way deep into the playfoffs.
Congrats, coach Bobby, you are a better coach than you are given credit for.
Go Griz. Let's run the table from here on in.
