Better hope Ochs packs his BIBLE to the game Saturday because the EWU defense is just warming up. After watching last weeks game vs. MSU the Eagle defense swarmed Lulay and he did not want another pass play to be called after about the 1st quarter. Ochs better be prepared and know who is hot off of. If not you may need to pull a shirt off the no. 3 QB after Disney gets a taste of the steel curtain as well. Better get rehab 3 times a day because Saturday is coming awful soon for the GRIZ...god bless!!!

That's funny, the Eagle defense was getting its ass handed to it in the fourth quarter, giving up big pass and run plays. When MSU scored its go-ahead touchdown, EWU looked like they were resolved to let the Bobcat's win.
The Eastern fans we sat next to were griping because Wulff wasn't calling a timeout to recompose the D. And how many times did the Eastern D get in the backfield and freeze up because they didn't know what Lulay was up to?
EWU gave 319 passing yards in the game and I'm pretty sure it was Lulay throwing the ball. Not to mention that MSU's questionable running game gained 107 yards. Their return crew picked up 173 yards. The Bobcats also had more first downs than the Eastern. And the time of possession was 35:06 for MSU and 24:54 for Eastern. Should the Bobcats have had the ball 10 minutes more than the Eagles if Eastern's defense was so revved up?

I'm thinking maybe you played in that game and bumped your head. Meyer won that game for Eastern, not the defense.

I just had to look up the number of sacks - 4- registered by EWU against the Bobcats. Was Lulay really falling apart after four sacks?

Yeah yeah yeah, heard the same Shite from NAU before we played them. Down there! Welcome youselves to another loss this Saturday chumps.

PS The differance between EWU and NAU... NAU is a legit team that should be in the playoffs. You are not.

No, Lulay was lighting 'em up, especially late. And Meyer didn't win the game for EWU (although the keeper with three minutes to go was a gutsy play); Lulay and Molock really won it for them by butterfingering the ball all over the place and throwing the questionable pass late that was run back for the TD.

What kind of 'steel curtain' gives up over 400 yards at home to a suspect, low-octane offense?

Steel curtain? Dont even try to compare your defense to one of the greatest ever.

Let's keep it to 'doormat'. Hell, you're giving up roughly 402 yds and 28 pts a game.

You say your defense is 'just warming up'? MSU laid 426 yds on you.

Will that be the same "steel curtain" that NAU rolled over enroute to scoring 54

As a Steelers fan I am offended by your comparison of the Iggie D to the Steel Curtain. That's got to be the second most stupid statement I've heard. The first being that you guys are gonna win.
