It's LAUGHABLE that everyone and their mom came on here before last year's semis and talked about how LOOOOOUD Wa-Griz was and how AMAAAAZING it was and how the GRizzlies were soooooo unbeatable there and what an awesoooome program you guys have....but just like last year when we rolled in and beat your ass, I can't buy a post from you front-runners now.

Hey moron did you even go to the game? or did you watch it on ESPN because you're too cheap to come to the game because it might have been a waste of money?

According to your web site you got a whopping 5,224 fans at your last game against Fordham
W 49-35 .... 5224
Wow that's impressive. I bet if I was to look it up... your high school playoffs get better attendance.
Last year I was embarrassed for your team (a very good team) that received very little interest from your community.
Watching the NC game last year it looked like a small pocket of UMASS fans (500 to 1000) surrounded by App State people on your side of the stadium. They were laughing at you and they were happy to pick up the unused tickets. I feel bad for your team.

Just like you couldn't get anyone to talk to you in high school. Ever think there might have been a reason for that?
Quick question: What matters in football, the amount of people in the stands or what happens on the field?
You guys couldnt get any lamer. Sure, in the Attendance Championship Subdivision, you guys are numero uno. But in the Football Championship Subdivision you're losers again. Which one would you rather win?
oh but if you do want to talk about attendance consider: Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics, Bruins. That's what people care about in Massachusetts. If we were the only game in town in a gigantic state, we'd prolly draw like you guys do too.
Then again, we're going to out-draw you this weekend even though we're on the road, because your LOOOOOOUD stadium was a patsy once again.

And UMess has exactly how many playoff appearances in a row? How many national championship appearances. Yeah, what a powerhouse.

I'm not sure which is more lame -- the fact that this loser came back here a year after our game just to smack us for losing again, or the fact that UMass was tied with FORDHAM in the fourth quarter of their first round game.
Here's some free advice you can pass along to your team, kiddo: tell them to thank their lucky stars that they drew Fordham in the first round instead of Wofford. We would have loved that draw, and if your team can give up 35 points to Fordham, I'd hate to see what a team from a real conference will do to them.
Now go away, before someone dunks your face into a toilet bowl.

I'm gonna have to agree with our UMass friend on this one.
During the week before the Wofford game, It was ridiculous how much talk there was about how cold it was here and how much bigger our stadium was than Wofford's. WHO CARES? People were talking about how great WGS was. Where was the talk about how great our team was? The game is decided on the field, in the trenches, by special teams, defense, offense, and the coaches ability to adjust on the fly. Last time I checked, one or two false starts isn't going to change the outcome of a game. Many people overestimate the significance of the crowd and cold.
Does anyone think that maybe we beat the snot out of Northwestern State, McNeese State, Sam Houston State, etc in recent years at home because those were some damn good Griz teams and not because they happened to be from warmer climates?

Non-smack:
How is that Blaylark (sp?) kid doing? He sure had a heck of a game here in Montana, and he seemed like a good kid. Did he graduate? Does he play any pro ball?

Agree with Turd. It gets old, even for a Griz fan, to listen to people talk about the atmosphere. Yes the fans bring it and it does affect the visiting teams but it's about the teams, not fans.
Posters set themselves up for smack like this.

Oh don't get me wrong; I don't disagree with what Turd is saying, either. I also agree that people tend to over-hype the WaGriz home field advantage. That still doesn't change the fact that our UMass friend is a douche for taking time out of his day just to come back here and smack us, though.

I saw him playing for the AZ Cards. Wasnt on the sideline or roster, he was in the game.

That was my recollection as well, but when I looked at their website earlier this morning, he wasn't on their roster. Does anyone know where he is now? (I tried to find out earlier this morning, when the question was posted, but I couldn't find it and then I got busy at work.)
I hope he makes it as well -- always happy to see a I-AA player do well, especially at a skill position.
