Personally, I would prefer more aggressive mods. If you post blatantly offensive attacks on posters, players or coaches you get banned. I don't have a problem with making the board uncomfortable for posters who can't maintain at a least a thin veneer of civilty. If they choose to go elsewhere because of tighter moderation, so be it.

Chris, I really appreciate you spending hours and hours keeping this site going. It gets read by many people. I don’t think you should have to police the board.
Maybe the board should be closed down at the end of each game (win or lose) and not restarted until 6:00 am the next day. Cooler minds will then be posting.

Actually I have said that more recently than that and probably will again. Satan and his minions is almost a compliment for Joe these days. I think he is being called a lot worse, unfortunately not "ex-coach" yet.
