Chris and the mods have let this forum be an embarasment to fans of the Griz and I hope it takes it's toll. I donated money to keep the board alive and now regret it more than I can say. Poor policing of decent topics and a lack of keeping personal attacks will kill this board I hope. The good news is that something else will fill in the gap and provide Griz fans with a forum that is respectable. Wish I had the rewind on my "donation".

Mods can't babysit the board all of the time, and some have other things to do.. more posters need to babysit their mouths and attitudes before anything will change. Regardless, your $$$ is always a help in any way.

That is their "job" if you will. it has been hours since these posts have hit tonight and repeated trash for weeks. It can be done better... and I bet it will soon....

Unfortunatley it's a fine line to walk, some people want heavy moderation, some want none. Others want some here and some there.

Egriz is THE place for discussion of Grizzly athletics, flamers, neggies, sugar coaters and all. It always seems to be pretty "bad" on days after close games or losses, but I think the positive of what this board does far outweighs the negative.

I have no problem with discussion and difference of opinion. So where does "Bobby Hauck is a Faggot" fit that? Come on remax you know better too!

In that case I agree as well, the title is horrible, it shouldn't be moved to smack, it should simply be deleted.

Personal attacks? Note: your signature line (quite a statement) Powder River flip 'em off! If you can't beat them (even after guaranteeing it) flip them the bird. And then in order to save your sorry a$$ fire your assistants.....

It was meant as sarcasm for a guy I know well and have no respect for. He flipped the bird, after guaranteeing a win.... He now has fired Cockhill.... He lost his a$$ this year.... personal???? no, pretty public.

Again, mods can't be guarding the board all the time, but I totally agree with what you're saying. The post on the front page should be deleted. But like RE/Max said.. the moderation goes both ways.. some say too heavy handed, some say not enough.

I would call that personal. It is directed at a specific person. I don't think it's out of line to direct things personally to others on this board but you should be prepared to get it as well as give it.

Like I said in the title... If you start the board, you better be able to take care of it. 8 hours of that topic on board is embarassing. Chris should be ashamed!

You guys are missing the point, it's OK for Scrapethroat to insult and threaten posters but not ok for anyone to respond or do likewise. See it makes perfect sense.

I have my own board and I go 8+ hours without seeing sometimes.. that's just how it goes sometimes. This board isn't a "job", it's a fun hobby, exactly how it should be.

And I will never be asked to contribute to your "hobby" either! Not like Chris couldn't see a busy time today on the board.

I am right quite often.

I have donated quite a bit of money to this board and I get kicked off here for things out of my control. I have a friend in Billings that donated and got kicked off because he knows me. Get in line if your going to be pissed about donating money.
