Hey guys...I'll bet you that come monday morning there will not be one single post from an EWU fan. it is so funny to come to this site week in and week out....listening to these idiots lie to themselves. they come on this board thinking the people here don't know football. well we do know football in montana. By the way it does not matter how fast the EWU recievers are or that you guys have had some NFL guys from the line....guess what we've had a few NFL guys ourselves. Heard of Tim Hauke? the difference between EWU and the Griz is the fact that the Griz have skill players that get looked at and go to the NFL....talk all the stats you want. tell ya what, come back to this site Monday morning and we will talk about the EWU stats.

I'm going to Grizzlyland!!

Hmm. You might wanna look into that one. A few of the "skill position" players that have gone into the NFL the past couple of years:
-Dan Curley ('02) Saint Louis Rams
-Jessie (8-Ball) Chatman ('01) San Diego Chargers (led all rushers in NFL pre-season)
-Lamont Brightful ('01) Baltimore Ravens
-Josh Blankenship ('02) Miami Dolphins

'Nuff said!

Lumberbroker, I use to be a Griz fan many years ago. Went to school and graduated from Boise State and received my masters from Michigan State. I am not an ISU or EWU fan, but a Big Sky football fan.
I see it the other way around Lumberbroker. I find Griz fans the most arrogant/trash talking individuals out there. From the posts that I have read the last couple weeks it has been the Montana characters thumping their chests about how great they are. How big your stadium is, how great you fans are, playoffs, National championship…blah, blah, blah….blah!
I think it is funny that little ole' Eastern and ISU fans can come into Egriz and ruffle the feathers of the big bad griz faithful and that you think that they should be more respectful!
You guys are the best program out there, tradition, facilities, etc.; Realization is this if you don’t know it by now. Everyone on the bottom wants a piece of Montana, deal with it.
Lumberbroker,as Montana was making its climb to the top, how much respect did you show towards the programs that you were stepping over? None!
Win on Saturday and shut them all up, lose and be prepared to listen to it for another year!
Bye………….

I never thought I'd ever be agreeing with you, OldGrizFan, but you actually made very some valid points. Point taken.

EWURanger, I also totally agree with you. The previous post about the skill players was way off. EWU has had some very good skill players in the past, as any Griz fan should remember. The Griz have a solid tradition of sending O-lineman to the pros, and a sketchy one of 'skill' players. There are, of course, exceptions to each. Teames post proved exactly what OldFan was talking about, sadly enough.

But enough of the reconciliation, GO GRIZ, and as OldFan says:

"Win on Saturday and shut them all up, lose and be prepared to listen to it for another year!"

P.S. -- Losing is NOT an option!!!
