whoops, the link didn't work.
a little bit of it. not my words, opinion on ramnation.

Others have suggested Bobby Hauck the Montana Head Coach. Yes
he has an impressive 52-14 record at his alma mater but there are
concerns with Hauck. Here is one story I will share. While at CU, he
was recruiting Andre Gurode. Hauck was doing an in-home visit with
Andre knowing that Texas was to follow him with an in-home visit.
Hauck asked if he could hide behind the couch during the Texas visit.
Gurode said sure so Hauck did it. He actually hide behind the couch!
This was a story told by Neuheisel at a recruiting luncheon several
years ago. (Note: Hauck was an assistant under Slick Rick Neuheisel
at both Washington and Colorado). On top of that Montana has had
several off-the-field problems with their football players. Several
Montana players that Hauck recruited and allowed into the program
have been arrested. Three players broke into several homes with
semiautomatic machine guns and tasers. Another Montana player was
arrested for attempted murder. Let’s just say CSU is better off passing
on Hauck. He has produced results on the field but his off the field
success has been poor.

Sounds like some inflated stories if you ask me. Semiautomatic machine guns? Several houses?

They don't mention his teams GPA and graduation rate, something that's also part of his off the field success, but I presume this is just a fans post on a message board or something.

Inflated? Hardly, Wilson was arrested for MURDER, not attempted murder. Also it was four Griz players, not three, and don't give me that semantic shit about how "Q-Free" wasn't a player anymore. If you read the police report they are accused of breaking into several houses.

Love to see the link, I haven't seen anything remotely close to what you posted and I have been searching. Thanks in advance for posting it. Perhaps it was just a blog?

I think you missed the part the dude was aiming at, DJ. Try the next sentence or two. GB will correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think the tresspassing incident involved more than one house. I also don't believe that I heard anything about semis or tasers in the stories I heard about that incident. That seems to be where the inflation is coming in.

SH,

Don't link my name to this crap. I am not up on Rapsheet 101 as it pertains to the Griz. As far as I am concerned they are no longer Griz, they are now private citizens about to be fitted with Prison Uniforms. If found guilty, I hope they get the MAX.

The police report mentions three houses were robbed. According to the report two were drug related and a snowboard was taken at a third house.

One of the players is accused of using a taser on the person whose house was involved in the home invasion. Also police claim to have found a gun case and ammo for a Tec-9 (semi-automatic machine gun) in one of the suspect's cars. Also, the victims described a gun with a bannana clip used in the robbery that sounds like the Tec-9 the police found the case to.

I still don't know what's more embarassing though, Hauck bringing this posse to Missoula and on to his team while kicking Jason Washington off, or Hauck hidding behind a couch at a recruit's house to spy on a Texas rep.

What a clown.

I wonder why no one has donated anything as significant as new turf or a jumbotron since Hauck has been here? Hmmmmm.........
