I am a little confused with all the potential Safeties we are recruiting combined with our depth there already. Then again, if they all Redshirt, I can see it making sense. Should we not be focusing more on WR, RB, CB, LB in terms in depth? Unless something changes dramatically, it looks as if BH is planning on dropdowns to fill the depth chart at those positions.
Is it possible BH may turn a few of the safeties to other positions. The bigger ones to LB and the faster ones to CB? The good thing about recruiting safeties is they are most often versatile and good athletes.

What if wrong with trying to support an 17-18 year old kid that may have made some mistakes. I am sure that the coaches are aware of any problems, and have made it very clear what is and is not acceptable from Mr Stuberg. I have no problem with giving kids a second chance.
Second chance?
Rumor has it that he possibly has up to four Alcohol citations throughout high school. is that true?
Not sure which one you would call the second chance?
The First? Second? Third? or Fourth?
not sure what you mean by the whole second chance thing?

Most kids that played LB in high school do not have enough speed to play LB for the defensive backfield that Hauck wants. Just the way it is.

That should help to solve our offensive woes!

Thats right, forgot about him. Wonder if he'll be one of the guys who rotate in behind Shann and Colt.

DeBruycker is a great pick up. I know an assistant coach from Choteau and a couple months ago he was telling me that Colorado State was recruiting him harder than the Griz were. I saw him run track last spring and he's very fast for his size, has a big frame with very broad shoulders. I think I remember him running something like a 53 second 400, which is stellar for a DL prospect. Should also be pretty tough if he's a state champion wrestler. His family moved from Fort Benton 7 or 8 years ago. What the heck is in the water at Fort Benton?
Fort Benton has a kid who was a Junior this year. He has been all state for the past two years. He placed third at state as a freshman, and won state as a sophomore at heavyweight wrestling. He is favored to win it the next two years. I think he is about 6' 4" and 275. He also placed in shot as a sophomore. They have had a pretty good run in Fort Benton over the past 7 or 8 years.
On the DeBruyker kid, I understand he is 6'4", but has a wingspan of 6'8" or more. Sounds like he could be in line for the next best defensive end.
You are talking about the Tweet kid. He is a man-child at the class B level. His dad is the coach of six-man Geraldine. For a big guy he has amazing athleticism. I hope he ends up a griz, but he could go much bigger.

I too hope he ends up a Griz.
and hope the griz offer him a full ride as soon as NCAA rules allow!
if not we'll be missing out on a lot.

I heard that Wyoming and Colorado State offered him and was wondering if he has other offers? You would think if he was as good as what everyone is saying he is he would have a few more offers.

You won't forget about him for long. He's a player (a tough one) and he'll be All Big Sky before he's done...3 years left to play.

I'm with you IG, Stoll will be on the field at some position next year. He is a stud.
