Good point, Tailbone. Yogi had at least FOUR friends:

Boo-Boo Bear
Ranger Smith (OK, that's a bit of a stretch)
Cindy Bear (Yogi's on-again, off-again ball-and-chain girlfriend)
The Pic-a-Nic Basket (probably Yogi's closest friend of them all)

Technically, Ranger Smith wasn't a friend of Yogi's. Smith was always trying to run Yogi out of Jellystone.

I did read a post that closed with the comment "your friend Yogi".
That's good enough for me!

very good question so emailed Hanna-Barbera to get a definitive answer. their reply:

that dumpster loving, basket snachin, lazy arse bear didn't have a friend in the world. not even BooBoo, who lived in constant fear of starvation!
