Is it surprising to you that a qb who throws 20 TD's in a 12 game season, has only 14 TD's in 8 of those games?

Didn't CB actually throw a slightly higher percentage of TD's in the conference season?

Bergquist had the second most TD passes for the season in the conference too, 3 ahead of third place.

Yes, isn't it amazing that the Big Sky coaches just give all-conference selections to the Griz? Wow, you are some kind of football genius, djollie.

3 Higgins WSU FR - All these super freshman. HI kid to boot, remember when we used to get kids from the islands?

4 Kriesien NAU JR - Would probably look like Armanti Edwards if he had the supporting cast of the Griz.

5 Cole UM JR - The two point coversion play against Wofford sums up his entire carrer. He also has inflated numbers from a laughable OOC. All this throwback to Hartman talk got me thinking. Would Harts have been any worse?

And we haven't even seen the Juco kid that the Cats just got. Cole could end up being the sixth best QB in conference.

So yeah, the other teams have better QBs than we do.

1. Nichols
2. Bergquist
3. Higgins - Lets see if he's another freshman fluke
4. Kreisen - didn't pass well in zone coverage at all
5. Hubel - System QB, it took to two quarters for the Griz D to figure him out.

Cole's numbers get pretty bad when you look just at his BSC and BSC+Playoff games.

Not checking, but I think he ends up with 14 TD VS 7 INT in conference. Which is good if your talking about a half conference season. Dude just can't get it done in the red zone.

We should have just stuck one of the new guys in at the start last year. The fact that Hauck ever even thought we had a chance to go all the way with Cole shows what kind of evaluator of QB talent he is.

I guarantee cash that Cole ends his Griz carrer with zero playoff wins.

Actually wasn't Coles 3 best games the PSU, ISU, MSU games? 871 yards, 6 passing TDs and 2 Ints over that span.

What's your point?

You hinted that Cole didn't play well in the conference games. His best 3 games were in conference.

"Player Rep"

First you think the BSC is the number one rated conference in 1-AA, now you're bringing up Cole's total season numbers?

You just can't get anything right, can you? We were talking about the conference season, why would you bring up the whole season which includes our bullshat OOC stat inflating games.

Hubel had 15 TD passes in conference dispite not playing a down in three conference games! Hey Remax, if we figured him out after two quarters as you claim, how did he throw for 400 yards against us?

Higgins had 14 TD passes in conference tied with Cole. He also rushed for 4 more. And he didn't start the entire year either.

Then of course Nichols, had 21 TDs in conference.

Looks like Cole had the fourth most touchdowns against the conference.

Hey Playerrep, read the title of this thread.

Owned.

Why don't you just take my bets that Cole will finish at UM with zero playoff wins, or that he won't be 1st or 2nd team all conference next year?

Put up or shut it, rich man.

djollie, like I said, CB was second team all-conference, as selected by the coaches. This is presumably selected for only or largely conference play. Look at the official conference stats as accessed from the MontanaGrizzlies.com webiste, and look how the conference stats are kept. It lists all games. CB has the second most TD passes. Why don't you admit that you're wrong, football genius?

People like Mr.balls will never get it. They will never be happy with an elite coach like Bobby Hauck.

Cole also ran 2 TDs in.

The Griz did figure Hubel out in the 2nd half, know why? 0 TDs scored. The only points PSU had was a TD on a pick-6 that Cole threw when Schulte slipped and fell on a quick pass.

Also, lets look at how PSU did in the 2nd half: 112 TOTAL yards, 3 punts, 1 missed FG, a thrown interception, and a defensive TD. Thats straight from the box scores. They figured him out.

How do you put it? Oh yeah, owned.

All that "elite" schooling and you still can't read.

We are talking about conference only stats. We always have been and you even admit as much in the bolded text in your above quote. Do you even know how to subtract out non-conference games?

No wonder they ran you out of New York.

Like I said, if you think Cole is so good, put up or shut it, rich man.

I won't even keep your money after I win it. I just want to wipe my ass with it and light it on fire.

An even thousand, say?

Or how about a gentleman's dollar.

Either will do.

OMG!
Allen had a great career with the Griz. And, talk about disrespect to Bags! ARGH!!

I think Cole will have a great year this year. He'll be a lot more confident.

can you explain to me how that negates the fact that he threw 400 yards for the game?

i used to kind of enjoy your attempts to sugarcoat the griz. now you are sounding like greenie jr.

and that ain't a good thing.

Argh - read the points, I said that the Griz D figured Hubel out after 2 quarters. In the 3rd and 4th the WHOLE team for PSU had 112 yards, presumably most through passing. Hubel threw for probably right around 300 yards in the first half, but he only threw for around 100 in the 2nd - that's a major adjustment and to me says that the Griz D figured him out.

I wasn't saying the team shut him down completely, he chopped up the defense for 2 quarters, but with good adjustments the Griz figured him out and shut him down.

Oh and Djollie - I presume that since you're not responding you agree, thanks! #thumb Also as some other posters have informed me, my last post was incorrect because it lacked a picture that reads: owned... so....

I'm curious, how do you pick Hubel as the second best QB in the league?

Yes he had the phenomenal 9 TD game in the loss to Weber; however, in the last 3 games he threw only 5 TD's and 11 INT's. In the loss to UM Hubel had 2 INT's. In the loss to MSU, he threw 5 INT's and was benched in the 4th quarter. Against N. Colorado he threw 4 INT's and was benched in the 3rd quarter. PSU eventually pulled out the win with their backup QB.

So is that really your choice for the second best QB in the league?

I have been in Wisconsin a lot, all of my family from both sides lives in the Madison area, been to Packers game as well. Pack didn't prepare for the cold weather, but they've still got a home game in two weeks and I've got a good feeling they'll be able to beat Dallas, if given the opportunity.

Who are the Bears playing this coming weekend?

The cold? That's funny. Are you sure you've been to Wisconsin before? Green Bay is colder than Chicago. It's not like the Packers are a dome team. What a stupid excuse.

It must have stung pretty bad watching the packers get skull fu(ked by Chicago twice this year. If they can't beat the Bears, they aren't going to beat anyone else worth a shite.

The Bears sucked a fatty this year, the pack lost to them TWICE.

PSU only lost to the Griz by three at Wash-Griz and their QB had over 400 yards passing and you're on here bragging about owning me because you think the Griz "figured him out".

Selling real estate must be pretty freaking easy if someone with your logical prowess can get by doing it.

Oh yeah, I read on here that you work for your mom.
