There's great potential in this team, many playmakers have a chance to shine, such as Marani, Ferriter, and Bergquist. On defense it will be interesting to see who steps up to fill the DE and LB gaps.
I don't hear a lot of people saying 2008 will be just as good or better, there's hopes for a strong season but I really see most people expecting 2-4 losses next year based on the conference and schedule.
Well it can't get any worse than another first round loss in the playoffs.
I would be slightly surprised if we don't go undefeated again.
There's a lot worse than a 1st round loss, not making the playoffs, embarassing loss to the cats, not being over .500, not winning a signle game... the list could go on.

Being overrated and getting knocked out the first time you face real competition is the absolute worst. It's 24343448 times worse than just flat out sucking.

Eastern Washington wasn't real enough for you? As for Wafford, I think we all believe a number of opportunities were missed ... certainly the last one ... & it was a game of "if onlys" .. we "coulda and shoulda" situations. We'll learn from that game ... is that a postive enough spin for ya?

I think some of the guys that act like they are positive on this board are skeptics when they go to WGS on gameday. They are not cheering hard enough or positively enough.

You are right on, AG2. I know two of the positive posters on this board, have tailgated with them. You should hear their critical comments on game day, yet they dummy up on this board. Too much intimidation by the koolaid drinkers. Being labled a bad fan is more than they can stomach.

That made me laugh - you told me face to face that the needed to dominate SDSU last year and win by at least 3 or 4 scores - which they did. Then you were right back on here ripping everyone top to to bottom. You didn't tailgate with me, you showed up, complained about the Griz, complained about egriz, and then bolted as soon as I mentioned that I thought I saw GGG coming over to the tailgate. Billybear another poster can attest to that - he was standing right next to me.
