Heard from a friend in northern california that montana OL coach pete kalagis is leaving his cozy Big Sky job to work at Humboldt State!!?? Have also heard that other staff members have been shopping their resume. This is reportedly because BH is leaving after signing day to take the Special Teams/Asst HC job at UCLA. Ricky has been holding onto that job for a while now.... It's all speculation at this point, but some of it kinda makes sense. Im sure this will get moved to the rumor board because that is exactly what it is.....but who know.

I will say that I have heard this very thing from a pretty reliable source with connections in California. Evidently the offer has been out there for sometime and Hauck has yet to confirm either way. Nothing in stone, but I think this has some teeth at least. We shall see.
I have no idea if this is true at all, but it is true that Rob Smith was named head coach at Humboldt State last week, and starts Wednesday, Smith gave Kaligis his first coaching job @ WWU, so it wouldn't surprise me if they reunited, regardless of what happens with Bobby and the rest of the staff.
I just wish he would either leave or stay or atleast come on the TV and say to all of Griz Nation what he plans to do. I know a bunch of these rumors are nothing but a bunch of BS, but it would be nice to know for absoultly sure what he is going to do.

You may be right...
The Good Lord tells me he can get me out of this mess... but he's pretty sure your f@&%ed.!!
It has been reported on the board several times that Kaligas may leave because his pay is incredibly low and he's used up his savings. This one wouldn't be a surprise. I don't buy for a second that BH is going to UCLA. Had he intended to leave for UCLA, he would have already done it and given his staff notice so that they could find jobs. I don't think BH would leave his staff anyway, even though I assume he does get job opportunities from time to time, including one from RN.
Yes, sacks were bad in '06: 3.5 per game. Compare that to PSU's 4.55 per game in '07. UM had 2.42 per game in '07.
The o-line coach and the o-line are important in pass protection, but there are also the h-backs and tight ends, the running backs, the mobility of the quarterback, the existence (or lack thereof) of a running game, play-calling, etc.
Player Rep, you can sugarcoat the offensive line play all you want, but it was not very good. I will tell you why the sack numbers are not higher, the fact that CB can run, and he did run often, and also the number of balls that he threw away to avoid a sack. The o-line also was poor at run blocking, and you can point to the yards that the Griz ran for, but when there are 45 rushing attempts per game, you are bound to get some big yardage carries. But I lost count of the 2,3, and 4 yard carries that was all about the back working his butt off because there was no where to run. The Griz ran because of the talent at RB and not the play of the oline

UH-OH! This just in! Ryan Kessman has loaded up a U-Haul and is on his way to visit Bozeman!
While I know you don't know what you're talking about, Grizindabox, when it comes to football, you're, of course, welcome to your opinion. I wish I could set up a meeting with you and some of the o-line so you could tell them how much they suck. The o-line will be very good next fall.
I remember it being reported that when Craig Ochs approached Joe Glenn he asked him if he would be coaching in Missoula. Joe told him that coaching was a fickle business and that you had to take opportunities when they came. Not a yes or a no but that kind of answer seems par for the course.
If you don't think very good, Don't think very much!!
