Who will replace Knight for soundbites and tantrums? Got to admit, love him or hate him, he is one of a kind. I will remember the good and bad of coach Knight. I will remember much more his desire to win, and his willingness to make this world a better place for those close to him. Having not ever met him, he strikes me as either your best friend/family or your worse enemy, and the man is brutally honest. Thanks for the memories Bobby, and good luck to Pat Knight, who succeeds him.

If this were for negative reasons, I am sure his son would not be succeeding him. I think Knight's age and nerves finally got the better of him. I am sure he expects the best out of himself just like he does his players and fellow coaches. He realizes his best is no longer what it used to be. He strikes me of the type that would resign if he no longer can give it all it takes to be as successful as he has been. :thumb:

I bet he comes back with a different program in order to reach 1000 wins.
