Is it true:

After calling around the cats finally got Houston to agree to give them the orginal Astro Turf from the Astro Dome? Providing the cats come and haul it away. Also, the 3rd base hole is missing so if anybody has a friend in Philly could you call them and see if they still have the third base cover from the Old Vet Stadium. If you get on it the cats can sew this thing up by spring ball. I guess the 84 championship team put this all together and will get to name the new field. I'm thinking, "The Last best season Field at Bobcat stadium".

Post script: I just got off the phone with Mr. Long past owner of JTL and he's agreed to get to work and lay the 3 inches of concrete foundation needed under the football field for the Astro turf.

It might still look better than the Griz current field. It is starting to show a lot of wear and tear (can see running seems up where it is worn now). That Wofford team really tore up the outside seams last year running for those 20-25 yard gains each play.

Wild Cat - fortunately, we will be getting our 2nd version of Griz Turf shortly after you get your first. It is scheduled to be replaced in about 2 years.

That we will be replacing ours in a couple of years? Sure. Or when you will be getting yours? Hopefully as soon as possible.

I tried taking action that you were not a moron, but the best odds on any board I could find was at the Bellagio. They had it at 1 to 1.7 million. I threw down 1.7 million, figuring that was a sure way to pick up a $1 tip for the bellhop.

I think the new Cat turf is destined to last longer simply because they are done with it before Thanksgiving... #thumb

found this contractors pic of the new BobCat field turf over on MSU Athletics site. according to the article the donor will remain anonymous and has made only to demands:
1) color,
2) new field name (with that color only one possible name comes to mind -------).

The turf at WA Griz looks way better than the slop you p**** cats have where we kicked your azzes up and down the field this year!

Cats should call Fresh Step and they said they would donate enough product to cover the field. I heard they were big cat supporters.

You know what I find amusing? That five of the last 6 touchdowns scored in those POS mudbowl endzones you guys are finally getting rid of were scored by:

Lex
Eric Allen
Eric Allen
Lex
and......oh yeah,
LEX!!!!

Hell, I'd replace the field too since the Griz seemed to own it.

To each his own... what I find amusing was watching the way Wofford crammed the ball down your throats... on your precious turf... and all the overconfident fans with their tickets to Chatty could only sit and watch helplessly as play after play you knew they were going to run and your vaunted D couldn't stop them. Oh ya, and then watching the best kicker you've ver had miss that last one... that had to sting. #moon

I can't believe Carpenter got as close as he did on that kick. Freezing cold and over forty yards should never be expected no matter what the situation. Idiot fans are idiot fans regardless of the team, and it should be noted you are talking about another school who beat the Griz...uh...not your own. It's like that little dog on the cartoons that's always going, "Yeah, Yeah, Sure, Sure," bouncing up and down next to the big bull dog (and yes, I see the irony that the Terrior in this example is a bulldog).

Griz were upset last year in the playoffs, and the Cats weren't a playoff caliber football team. 2007 is over...2008 upon the horizon. Hooray, another year of Big Sky football that will probably be like every other year of Big Sky football....

Dang poor, it's just too bad you don't know what it feels like to talk crap because YOUR TEAM beat us. Like the cats would have even stood a chance against wofford, what we lost by one point? In fact in the last two games we've lost (and the only fcs teams we've lost too in the last two yeas) we've lost by a combined total of 3 points. Now times that by 7 and you get the score that we spanked your asses by.
Here's a few other numbers for ya
11 (points you lost to Chadron by)
3 (points you lost to NCU by...oh and gave them their first DI win in two years).
24 (years since you won an nc)
Much love

Here's a math problem for ya, debater .

"Montana State’s last four secondyear head coaches improved their
team’s record by an average of just over five wins from the previous year."

If Rob Ash had a 6-5 record his first year, using the information above, what will his record be in his second year?
