The stats for MM don't show the timeliness of her points. She almost singlehandedly turned the tide which was strong MSU to an overwhelmingly strong UM, inside of a few minutes.

She was a hoot to watch tonight. A TON of swagger as she drained shot after shot RIGHT in opponents' faces. 6-6 from beyond the arc w/ at least 3 or 4 of them just being spot up threes that she drilled.
Mandy was clutch in both games!! Tonight, when the Lady Griz were coming back, Mandy hit 2 or 3 consecutive threes; she is such a catalyst for the rest of this team.
Also, last night, having Mandy helped immensely. Towards the end, Montana simply inbounded the ball to her, PSU would foul, and Mandy would add two automatic points.
Here is Mandy's combined stat line for both games:
15-27 fg
9-14 3fg (6-6 against MSU )
16-17 ft
11 boards
14 assists
55 points
76 minutes
The Mandy Morales we witnessed in the BSC Tournament was finally able to play without wincing everytime she took a step. I hope she is able to play the rest of this year and her SR season without the foot problems. If that happens we are going to see an incredible season I believe.
Yes, Congrats to Mandy and the whole Lady Griz Team... I cant wait for the Vandy game!!!
GO GRIZ!!!
Born A Griz in 75, Played under the stands of Dornblazer in 85, Moved to Seattle in 86... You can take me away from Montana, but you cant take the Montana away from me
Mandy Morales is a stud. She even walks like a basketball player. She's got the swagger that every point guard should have. Any team in America would love to have her.
