He can go for the Baker's Dozen next season. Congrats to Robin and his staff! #clap

Honestly, I thought Binford should have won the award. This expected of Robin, but what Binford has done in only a few short years is remarkable.

Granted, Binford did an excellent job at MSU, especially considering their injury situation. but Sherri Murrell at Portland State did an excellent job as well, losing eight (Thompson, Bos, Boscacci, Ritter & Walton among them) players from last years roster and bringing in three freshman that contributed right off the bat; two, a recruiting coup, right out from under Eastern Washington's (and Gonzaga's) nose from Spokane in Kelli Vallentine and Lexi Bishop.

I figured with the coaching change and everything else that PSU would be a contender next year, being in the top four teams in the BSC, maybe. Didn't really expect them to do as well this year, though definitely a BSC tournament participant.

Does anyone know where coach ranks on any of those "NCAA all-time winningest coaches" lists, either for just women's or both men's and women's hoops? I tried to find it online but was unsuccessful. He's got to be getting up there.

Here is a link to the records as compiled by the NCAA. These are of course PRIOR to the start of the season. Selvig is in the Top 10 in winning percentage and number of wins.

And only three coaches in the top 10 in wins have fewer losses than Selvig - Summitt, Auremma and VanDermer.
