Hey, Guy from NJ here. I will be visiting Missoula the 1st week of May with my wife. I'm a huge college sports fan - the Griz squad I actually follow most closely is the lacrosse team (don't laugh, it's a great sport). Besides sports I like trying different beers, and the outdoors/wildlife (Montana seems like paradise for those kinds of things). Would enjoy getting to know anyone out there who might be up for having a few beers and showing me some of the town.

Welcome to Montana. You'll have a great time. A lot of the posters here will definitely be able to help you with your quest.
If you like beer you can stumble all over town. The Kettlehouse downtown off of the hip strip, Big Sky Brewing out by the airport, and Bayern down off of Russell street. Drink up! If you want to see wildlife, the National Bison Range near Moiese is a close drive if you want to see a lot of wildlife.

Thanks, Bayern is definitely on my list, I read about it recently.

All newcomers to Missoula are required to check in at the Rhino upon arrival and complete your "50 Ways to Love Your Liver" orientation prior to moving about the town. You will be issued a t-shirt at the conclusion of the session.
