Now will Larry K. be interested in the Marquette job? Things look shaky with the Bucks. Just a thought

Or will Milwaukee native & UW-Milwaukee grad Bruce Weber leave Illinois & head to Marquette?

That would be a step backwards for Weber considering the Big 10 is big time conference like the Big East and Illinois is a state school with more support and budget to draw from when it comes to alumni and boosters as opposed to a private school like Marquette with limited numbers. However, the family and native factor does account for something. If Crean is willing to leave marquette for the Big 10 and a school with a similiar situation as Illinois, I can't see Weber leaving Illinois for the Big East and Marquette.

I think that would make sense if LK really wanted to coach in college because Crean thinks marquette has a top 15 team returning. I doubt LK will persue the job because it really seems he doesn't want to coach in college based on his comments he hates recruiting, which as we all know is what colelge hoops is all about.
