UC Davis is coming of a 5-6 season and its first-ever in Aggie Stadium. The stadium will be site of six home games this season, including five in row from early October through early November. The home slate opens on Sept. 13 against Portland State before moving into a long homestand three weeks later against Northern Colorado (Oct. 4), Southern Utah (Oct. 11), Iona (Oct. 18), North Dakota (Oct. 25) and Sacramento State (Nov. 8).
Five road games, including matchups at San Jose State (Aug. 30), Montana (Sept. 20), Cal Poly (Nov. 15) and San Diego (Nov. 22) help highlight the program's first-ever 12-game schedule.

... The group of newcomers to the Wildcat program will join a squad that expects to return a total of 14 starters -- six offensive and eight defensive -- in 2008. Central Washington will return to the Great Northwest Athletic Conference this fall following a two-year stint in the North Central Conference, which was capped by a 10-3 record and first-ever appearance in the NCAA Division II National Quarterfinals.
