It's unanimous DWTF. Stay. You're in good company here.

No offense Bronco, but where are these memos regarding McCain coming from? I mean really......if a tax-cutting, program-slashing, aggresive foreign policy advocate, war hero isn't someone Republicans should be voting for, then please introduce me to the tax-cutting, program-slashing, aggresive foreign policy advocate, war hero I should be voting for. Because those are the qualities I look for in Republicans. Maybe I'm in the wrong party?
I agree that McCain is a Republican. However, the Republican party has largely abandoned conservatism. Bush has set the standard with "borrow and spend" along with undermining the Constitution. Also, "aggressive" foreign policies are not a traditional conservative trademark. Additionally, McCain is now advocating deficit spending as a way to deal with the recession. None of this has much to do with conservatism, but it does represent the new Republican Party.

McCain is the real Republican. You'll get no argument that Bush has lost his way on the fiscal side. McCain can help the Republicans remind us of who we really are.

God help me, I'm again going to add my two cents to this....

DWTF, you made a pretty bold prediction (any wagers?) about Hillary's chances at winning the nomination. BAC responded with a fun and harmless challenge to that assertion. I don't think he was serious at the time about a real wager......just harmlessly engaging the topic. Then the shit hit the fan and it got real personal real fast. At one point you invited the possibility of a physical challenge (word of advice.....don't do that on a message board while at the same time calling someone gay). He probably didn't appreciate the ridiculousness of all of that and called your bluff. Good for him.

The only reason I even speak to this little psychodrama is that I enjoy this board and your crap in this thread really f*cks things up. You'll rarely see GrizWiz, kalm, BAC, and myself ever sitting on the same side of the fence on an issue. But every once in a while, they speak to something that makes me think differently about a particular topic and I appreciate the fact that I can maybe learn something. Your little shit-fit gets in the way of that.

Please stop. Thanks.

I totally disagree.

I'll wager all my egriz bucks that you and I agree on more than we disagree with. I'll also wager the same concerning DWTF. I could sit down and tip a few with all you guys.

Try to never take things said on a message board too seriously - except during football season. Than all you guys are real bastards.

Can you feel the lovin'? I can. #thumb

Ahhh, come 'ere you......

As far as football season goes, I have a sneaking suspicion that you'll have a lot shit to talk.

Just for Kalm, I am asking BH to change his name to Bobby Bush when we play EWU. #tounge

19 votes. I always thought this board was filled with a bunch of dumbasses, I may have to re think my assumtion. Looks like most people are on ignore mode.

I've sent Chris a letter and asked him to remove my account from egriz = somehow I have become someone, I don't know or like in this forum(s), and after 5 years, it's time to move on.

I do apologize to everyone in here...especially BAC.

see ya all around the stadium in the fall's.

DWTF

Go Griz

Well, sht. I don't usually do this, but I guess I'll cast my ballot into the "don't leave, DWTF" box, too.

Foe and I have had some pretty nasty exchanges on here, too (especially recently), but for whatever it's worth -- at least on my end, there aren't any bad feelings.

We all go a little bit off the deep end on here from time to time, in our own ways. I know I've certainly gotten frustrated with certain posters on here before, and I've been known to rip into people (some of whom deserved, and many of whom probably didn't). When I read it the next day, I usually realize that I was being a jerk, and I apologize...and honestly, I think that's about all anyone can expect of any of us.

The bottom line is, we're all just a bunch of Big Sky Conference football fans who like to talk about politics when we're not talking about football. We're all a$$holes sometimes, and I can be an a$$hole with the best of 'em, but I bet if I sat down and had a beer with any of the people I argue with on here, we'd probably find that we agree on about 75% of the issues out there -- we just spend all our time on here arguing about the other 25% because, well...it's more fun.

I've don't have problems with a$$holes as long they know they're one (or in retrospect, being one). It's the a$$holes who don't realize they are that bother me.

Guilty as charged counselor.

I sometimes come to eGriz to vent and decompress after a long day and basically take it on you guys instead of the squirrels outside my apartment. My neighbors extend their thanks by the way. So do the squirrels.
