IMHO. That is all you really needed to say in all that, which I strongly agree.

Me and my "ilk" can be a bit loquacious. Sorry

General, why don't hand-timed sprints matter?

I didn't mean that. I was sarcastically referring to the thread about TC and how much controversy there is about exactly how fast he actually is.

Well, I caught the sarcasm, since I've been one of the primary posters on the 'Tyzer Cady Speed' thread.

I'm just excited to be able to see this young guy become a Griz. One of the recurring threads over the years about the Griz is that they don't have enough speed, so when they sign a kid who's run a legitimate 10.4 100 meters, hand-timed or not, I look forward to seeing him run down the field in Wa-Griz.

We all fondly remember watching Tuff and Jefferson use their superior speed to run away from defenders, especially on returns. If we're getting someone who's even a wee bit faster than either of them, I'm all for it.

He may not have the impact these two players did, but then again he might--I'm just eager to see how he looks in front of the 25,000 faithful, that's all.

Don't mean to hijack the thread. Carry on.

A Griz recruit trying to break the state 100 meter record is definitely news-worthy and a good story. I was just basically saying that the board would be dead if all the WAC threads were locked . . . unless people would rather talk about Kessman or the disappointing scrimmage again. #twocents

Oh oh. The doctor's headed down the hall ready to pull the IV drip and shut off the vital signs monitor.
