Biermann could end up being a great speed rusher in the right situation, and Atlanta plays an aggresive defense that relies on a good pass rush.

I did notice that ESPN had "Kory" Biermann on the screen for about 20 minutes. #laugh

Everybody is saying he's too small to be a DE in the NFL Blah Blah Blah....

I remember a "too small" Linebacker... The late Sam Mills.... He didnt have many problems getting his name in the paper....

Also, the "Too small" Lofa Tatupu on the Seahawks, a Pro Bowler every season he's been here...

I think Kroy could be the next Patrick Kerney... That would rock, but if he is placed at OLB, Im sure he will get his share of hits as well

Two Griz FB players drafted, wonder when that last happened...

I dont remember if it ever has happened .... Anybody have vids of the selections??? I didnt tape it cause I expected them to be free agents

I know the Griz have had at least 2 guys drafted before. There use to be about 12 rounds, remember. Pease and Rice both got drafted in 1987 is the only one that comes to mind instantly.

Atlanta's Thomas Dimitroff and Mike Smith talk about the 2008 Draft:

Yes, they talk about Bierman

About 3:30 into the talk.

Kroy mentioned again at about 12:30 with amusing(?) butchering of his name.

They said the same thing about Elvis Dumerville... but he seems to be doing well with the Broncos.

A relative of mine is a special teams coach for the Falcons. I will have to keep in touch to see how Kroy is doing.

Outstanding post. I had the same thoughts about Tatupu as it relates to Biermann. Specifically, I thought about the Seahawks (Ruskell/Holmgren) approach to grading players. Yes, measurables matter, but how does the guy look playing football in the middle of November? Does he make plays on the field? Biermann's is exactly that guy.

Yea, I was glad to see Tom did not move with the other Montana abandoneers. I had Tom as a Math teacher in HS and a coach until he left for USU. It was very disappointing to see him leave. Great guy. Glad to see him succeed.
