Does anybody REALLY want to see another debate? Exactly what substantive topics haven't been covered in the first thirty or so debates? Last time it turned into Days of our Lives.
Can't they just wrap things up and move on to a REAL debate with McCain (those are the debates I am really interested in).
i'd like to see at least one using this format. that way, nobody can bitch about the debate moderators, who have been really pathetic so far. moreover, if the debate is tailored towards issues important to montana, that would be useful.
finally, not everyone has seen every debate - and bac certainly wouldn't have to watch this one, read about it, etc... so i don't see what his problem is.

All B.H.O. has to do now is run out the clock and not make any major errors.
Pennsylvania and Repubs got Hillary close enough for a good cat fight to the finish.... but the only way B.H.O. will lose the nomination now is to make a major error.
He didn't come off well in the last debate...was angry with the questions and it showed. he's better with a teleprompter.

I certainly don't have a problem with them doing it ... but I definitely see reasons why they wouldn't do one (beyond Obama not having the "guts" to accept).
Well the last debate didn't go as well for Sen. Obama so it's not completely surprising that he's not too enthusiastic to do another one. It seems that ABC was trying to compensate for all the negative criticism they've received for going to soft on Obama; some of it deserved in my opinion.
Also, if it were in Montana, I'm almost 100% certain that his "they're bitter crazies clinging to guns and religion" gaffe would come up.

"bitter crazies"...a little poetic license being used here, perhaps?
I would love to see that in all of the general election campaign debates. The less they are able to script, the better.
I'm just ready for the Democratic primary to be over so we can move on to some actual discussions of policies (as Hillary and Obama really don't differ much in policy, so it's turned into a big stupid fluffy "gotcha" contest).

Hillary's doing what she can now. Like someone else said, Obama now just has to not f*ck up. It's undoubtedly the right move from a competitive standpoint. Wish this would've gone down earlier though. The televised debates are a joke.

does not matter who you are a fan of to be honest with you. Having Rush Limbaugh shape your press conference message the way he wants to before the nightly news - very bad idea

You think a lot of primary voters in the Democratic party are tuning in to have Rush tell them what they should think?

It doesn't seem likely.
Anything is possible as politics makes for strange bedfellows. Terry McCauliffe was on Hannity and Colmes and called Fox the most fair and balanced network. If that can happen then anything can.
I suspect that the portion of Democrats who go to Rush for their news is incredibly low.
Quote:
Clinton campaign chairman Terry McAuliffe praises Fox News in a celebratory interview with reporter Major Garrett.
"You were the first ones to call it for Hillary Clinton," McAuliffe said, "Fair and balanced Fox. You beat them all."
Then it's back to Hume, who mentions how "nice to hear none other than Terry McAuliffe acknowledging that we were first on this call and that saying that as other Clinton representatives have, that we are fair and balanced. We certainly try to be. We'll take that and be proud of it.”
I suspect that McAuliffe would be much less flattering of Fox News if he wasn't kissing up to them so hard right now ... and they weren't talking about Fox News calling an election for his candidate.
See my comments on "Great American" thread about guys like him.
What is there to debate, there is no difference between them, with the exceptions of, male, female, black, white. rev. Wright, Bill Clinton
Waiting for debates between whom ever and McCain won't have many differences either, with the exception of the war against Islamist Fundamentalist.
All the money raised and spent by the group of candidates in this election cycle, to me seems pathetic. If that is the best of the best that American has to offer, the Islamic Fundamentalist should not be on the top of the list, for the American people to worry about.
Just imagine if we were not in a recession, BO, and HC would have raised $4 hundred million for the primary instead of $275 million.
Could someone explain to me, why $125 million plus is spent on a job that pays only $400.000.
obviously, they do it because of the key words you "accidentally" left out of your post. you should have said "... $125 million plus of other peoples' money".

And you know full well that if not spent, that 125 million would have been spent on disaster relief on the next al-queda homicide bombing of america

There I go again, I just assumed that everyone contribution to dialog on this board, knew that the contributions came from the candidates lemmings.
