jagur: And in case you decide not to respond to my questions, rest assured that the following will remain the same.

If I see you in a bar, and you try to take a cheap shot at me based on some irrational hatred you have festering in your soul (yoga might help, by the way), and when my spidey senses tip me off to the oncoming sucker punch and I am able to avoid it using my expert crouching tiger "fly away on an invisible cable" move, I promise that I will then shake your hand, forgive you for your temporary insanity, and buy you a beer. Then we can solve the world's problems over drinks like men are supposed to do.

Well see you in 6 months for our semi annual bitch fest.

So ... now that we've exhausted the funny "tough guy on internet tongue in cheek talk" stuff, maybe we can get back to the questions I posed to you. Starting with:

Did you think it was unfair of me to razz Bronco? And if so, why?

And if somebody wrongly accused you of being a hypocrite in a way that showed that they didn't really understand the concept they were using to try to criticize you, what would you do?

I need to learn, zen master. Please teach me your ways.

It was the tone. (yes, internet tone is hard to convey)

Bronco is a good guy.

Oh, Got distracted arguing

1: We update computers about every 18 months at my work with lots of servers and screens so we can be paperless. (7 years I'm on my 3rd computer)

2 Would it be better energy wise or environmentally to just grow trees, cut them down, make paper and use it in a file.

I know business wise it’s better for the company to have me on a computer in Montana talking to a guy in California but what about eco wise

Back on topic> Bronco puts thoughts out on the internet too many times you just take personal shots at him.

So ... when Bronco takes a personal shot at me (one that made no sense, at that), it wasn't okay for me to be sarcastic in my response to him?

I'm happy that you have fond feelings for Bronco, but that really doesn't justify a Marvin the Martian act by you directed at me for throwing his crap right back at him. Does it?

And your last paragraph is not really true. Whenever I post replies to his thoughts that he cuts and pastes from other sites (it is quite rare that he offers original material to posts, but when he does, I give it much more positive consideration that the other posts), I almost always respond with information that speaks to the topic. I do challenge his methods, the accuracy of his content, and even his tone quite often (and I use sarcasm from time to time to do so, that is true ... just as he uses ample sarcasm directed at me and others), but I do contribute content to speak to the assertions he is making.

And just one more thought ... the way you are talking about Bronco makes him sound like he is "special" and needs to be protected from the big kids. I really don't get the impression that this is true, so if he flips me shit, I will flip it right back ... and I won't feel like I am some kind of bully for doing so. He can take care of himself, and deserves (and can handle) any shit flipped back at him when he botches an attempt to slam somebody else.

He's seemed quite capable of giving and taking (in a non-sexual way, of course) through time, so I think we're on equal footing when it comes to this stuff.

Normally I would agree that the Dems are doom and gloom. However with rising fuel prices, food prices along with stagnant earnings people are suffering. Some of it is self induced but some of it is not. Things are not great out there. I do agree with Ronbo on his point that there is a mindset of depression in the country right now much like the 1970's.

My investments are up over 10% on the year. What are you neggies getting in your savings accounts? 2% for the year. WaHaWaHaHaHa!

What were you invested in? Please provide us details.

I'm still curious as to what Ronbo was invested in. If we are having an intelligent conversation on this topic, the specific investments that have been increasing in value (assuming this boast wasn't a fabrication) might well provide some insight as to exactly why the economy isn't doing well.

For instance, if you're invested heavily in oil stocks, you should be willing to admit that an increase in the cost of oil is not usually a bellwhether for a good U.S. economy.

And year over year, both the Dow and the Nasdaq are down significantly in value ... so the average investor would come out AHEAD had they put their money in interest bearing accounts as opposed to being invested in U.S. stock ... at least they would have a positive return.

So if Ronbo would be willing to share with us exactly what he was invested in over the last year that returned 10% for him, that would definitely be insightful for everyone.
