Tuesday should be interesting. Granted, I'm a big numbers guy (some people love polls, other people hate them), but I thought this was eGrizolitics-worthy:
In the same week, this race has gone from a 16 point spread to a 7 point one. That's HUGE for Hillary
Did anyone, by chance, catch the O'Reilly-HRC interview? Even as a Republican, I seldom find myself watching The Factor (I'm more of a Chuck Todd-MSNBC fiend, even though I think Olbermann is a complete tool) but I thought she did a wonderful job at coming across human/informed and tough-enough to woo over some right-leaning swing voters.
It all depends on which poll you want to believe any given day. The same day one poll showed that HC would beat McCain by 9 points there was another poll that said Mccain would beat HC by double digits. How can both of them be accurate?
thanks for the heads up on the o'reilly interview, stocks. clinton really showed her grasp of the issues in the segment, with many of her answers including a level of detail that the other candidates aren't able to express. i know there are legions of folks out there who hate the woman for various reasons, but to my way of thinking, you shouldn't vote for who you "like", you should vote for the person who will do the best job, and that might well be her. also, therein lies a big problem i have with a large percentage of obama supporters - they "like" the guy, but what do they know about his ability to actually get the job of being president done in a satisfactory manner?
oh, and while i'm at it, this whole "rev wright" stuff is stupid. as stephen colbert pointed out, a number of pundits calling for obama's head for not getting out of that church earlier just happen to be roman catholics. i guess frequent child abuse in your church is ok, whereas saying "gawdamn america" isn't?

As long as you love american it's ok. But, if you hate america then it's not ok. Is that clear enough for you aRgh!

What a stupid paralell. I'm not Catholic but I don't think the pedophiles were preaching their "queer" behavior.
I'd rather be fishing.

would you rather send your kids to a church that questions the judgment of the american government, or to a church that retains pedophiles as clergy?
anyway, i guess you are one of those "who needs actions when you've got words" type of guys. the kind who think that what is in their basement is their own business, and want to be judged by what they say, rather than what they do.

It's a perfect comparison because every catholic knows about the pedaphilia scandal and the millions of dollars of hush money spent on it but continue to attend mass, even contributing to the hush money fund when the basket is passed around. Any catholic ragging on Wright is nothing more than a hypocrite.

Even if it were valid, which it is not, here's another reason why it's lame.

i guess i'm an idiot. can you please explain to me how your list has anything to do with what is being discussed? in case you need a reminder, this 'conversation' has morphed into a discussion of whether it is hypocritical for someone to criticize obama staying with his church because a preacher in that church has made some "out there" statements, when the person doing the criticizing knowingly remains in a church that covered up large-scale child molestations/accusations by its clergy for many years?

Usually I would ignore an ignoramus, but I'll help you out with this. A better position(in your mind) to take for you and Colbert would be this.
The accusers of Rev Wright and OB's attendance are all in favor(not an ambiguos "number") of Law and Order and are highly supportive of law enforcement at the local, state and federal levels. These same individuals know full well that there is and has been corruption and cover-ups in each, yet continue to be supportive of these groups and what they profess despite the knowledge. What a bunch of hypocrits. There you go BOZO.
I'd rather be fishing.

One more item for you Arse. Why don't you publicly accuse the Vatican of what you profess and see how that works out for you. Again, I'm not Catholic, but not as dumb as you it would appear. Methinks the sweet smell of fertilizer in your area is taking a toll on your IQ.

Oh, and AG2, you are a goofball. Let your Catholic friends in Butte know you think they are supporters of pedophilia. That will be a good one.

Make that two more. I have no Catholic ax to grind here. I truely think that the comments by Colbert were jaded and stupid. He has an ax to grind. Tough row to hoe. For those that want to latch on to it. I hope you die soon and don't have children. Just kidding. Sorta. Particularly you Arse.

first of all, you didn't answer my question (big surprise there). moreover, the catholic church has admitted they made big mistakes in their handling of the child abuse scandal. i accept that, and don't think that catholics should abandon their church because of the scandal. i also don't think that folks in the united church of whatever-it-is-the-church-obama-goes-to should abandon their church because of a few things one preacher in the church said. however, pundits like o'reilly et al preach (sic) the latter while ignoring the former, despite their membership in the catholic church.
oh, and yes, i do certainly believe that because some houses were built in places where landslides occur, and then slid down hillsides because of landslides, no more houses should be built. i thought that was obvious to everyone?
