To be perfectly honest, moderates like McCain and Arnold are appealing in that they show an ability to compromise and work with the opposing party. Candidates that tend to piss-off the base might be the most successful at running the country.
But I also think hope sells - especially in regards to the economy. Obama might have an advantage over the cynicism of Hillary and McCain is he can surround himself with some good financial minds and avoid the spending mistakes of democrats past.
To sum, I feel least optimistic if Hillary is elected. McCain might turn out alright if he can avoid Military mishaps and ignore the right wing of his party. But I still favor Obama of the three.
