I guess it was a semantical thing city. I was agreeing with you. My point was the U did him a favor so he can move on with his chosen profession. Pretty much what you said. I just hope he got the help he apparently needs.

UM also did itself a favor by handling it in a "classy manner". By letting a coach leave in a way that preserves his dignity and his viability, it sends a message out to future hires about the organization. Marso is a well known coach, with lots of friend, granted he is a love or hate him kind of guy, and it is better to grease the wheels than to piss off people.

Right on Mslacat. Nice to see a few people get it. The hate mongers like "Sugar" have an pretty obvious axe to grind.

Speaking of what happens if you are a) thrown under the bus, or b) do something that violates the trust of the coaching profession...

Great article.

Great article.

It is a great article and what happened to Rouse is just wrong. You look at him a guy who did nothing wrong and deserves a second chance and guy like Marso who gets a second chance and just pisses it away. Rouse would probably give anything to have Marso's job. Marso got off easy compared to this guy.

Okay GB1 whatever you say and I'm sure I'll a get few more PM's from you. Mslacat put it well with #deadhorse and I'm sure you are looking to get into another pissing match with somebody like you like to do quite often but, I'm not going to let things get #offtopic out of respect for others on here.

Nope, I agree with Mslacat, apparently you didn't get it, no real surprise there. By the way, I have the same number of PM's from you so once again, nice try. I think your rock misses you.
