Apparently he was asked to leave the campaign because it was about to go public.

1. Obama is endorsed by Hamas.
2. Obama's Church published an article in their newsletter by Hamas comparing their fight to destroy Isreal to the Declaration of Independence.
3. Obama advisor had ties and meetings with Hamas.

There is a troubling pattern of connections to Islamic terrorists here.

And don't give me that excuse that Obama is isn't responsible for the evils of the people he knows. Give me a break. You ARE defined by the people you associate with and know.

Some excerpts from the article:

Quote:
An informal Middle East adviser

Quote:
Malley is a former National Security Council aide to President Bill Clinton who is now with the International Crisis Group, a nonpartisan conflict-resolution think tank

Quote:
The reports, which made clear he had met with Hamas, feature recommendations for key players in the peace process. Malley said he informed the State Department before he met with Hamas and then briefed State afterwards on what he had learned.

"To do my job, I have to meet with savory and unsavory people," he said.

Quote:
Malley decribed himself as an informal adviser who disagrees with Obama "on many things" regarding the Middle East, but he knew a lot of people in the Illinois senator's campaign and so from "time to time would offer advice they were free to disregard."

"Mr. Malley has, like hundreds of other experts, provided informal advice to the campaign," said Obama spokesman Tommy Vietor. "He has no formal role in the campaign and he will not play any role in the future."

God forbid we try to enter into peace talks and discussions with militant leaders around the world.

Nice subject heading. Perhaps McCain should resign for having ties to the North Vietnamese. Or Bush for having ties with the Bin Laden family and therefore Al Quaeda.

Here's a hint Ronbo, people with the first name of Rob and last name of Malley are less likely to have the kind of association with Hamas you should worry about.

But it's good for Obama that this stuff continues to come out early. It can be thourougly rebuked and used to make fun of gullible right-wingers who are craving the next swift boat moment.

Nobody will remember this come election time.

There is some difference between "ties" to someone and meetings with someone. Another bogus thread title. #beer

Do you really believe that if we try to talk to the terrorists that it will change their polocies toward Americans? They want you, me and every American dead. Obama may reach some of them to change their mind, but the majority of them want to see us burn no matter what we promise. You're living in a dream world, buddy.

That's why you were TOTALLY against the U.S. talking with the IRA in Ireland and being a part of that peace process, right?

Contrary to the beliefs of many, it is in our best interest to talk to any group, including groups deemed to be "terrorist" groups. They don't exactly just wither up and go away if one turns its back to them.

I imagine we are talking to every terrorist group in the world right now through unofficial channels ... or at least trying to. And in Iraq, we actually paid groups that we used to call terrorist groups (Sunni insurgents) to have them work with us.

Pragmatism goes a lot further in foreign relations than trying to put dangerous groups in "time out" indefinitely.

By the way, Hamas doesn't really care too much about the U.S. ... so your post doesn't really make much sense. They are pretty much focused exclusively on hating and attacking Israel.
