Server Donation Fund

Postby eGriz on Wed May 14, 2008 8:36 am

I am once again asking for help with paying for the monthly fees on eGriz.com for the server. It costs me about $400/month now to run eGriz.com and a few other sites.

If you can help out at all, please use the donation link at the top right in the tabs to donate online via paypal. If you would rather send a check, please PM me and I will give you my information.

Thanks for all your help and support!

Chris

one idea

Postby moxrox on Fri May 16, 2008 12:34 am

I have attempted to donate to this board before...probably after a big Griz win in an "Altered State"....I think my Visa card was charged...but I was never notified that I can remember...maybe ya'll don't need any support? In any event....I am interested in donating a couple of seats in the new addition on the 50 yd line for one game if you can raffle them off to help fund this website....message me if this is workable.
ps....there would need to be the stipulation that the winners, or the website, would put up a deposit to ensure that they uphold all the rules in the Stadium Club etc...kind of like a renters security deposit....but I think this could be a good thing. I am thinking...that with the tough words I've read on this board...you can effectively police your own! If this can't be done...I can donate in another way. In any event...you have my offer...2 seats, one game 2008 ...face value....$400
ps...I am only intending to sit up there for a couple games...I reside in the NEZ, and in sec 108...and these Stadium Club seats are the outdoor seats...indoor seating is lame. The idea here is to support EGRIZ, Grizzly Athletics, and the scholarship fund...

I have some big time teenager problems etc...have not had time to check with any legal people...still want to help you out...there must be a way? maybe we should just sell them somehow..it couldn't hurt to try...but a raffle would be neater....it might be legal since it supports the athletic dept...we need a smart attornety and a lot of them follow your site....I have had contact with a few....

The problem is, is that internet raffles are supposedly illegal in the state of Montana. Not sure what we should do.

You won't have a problem with me........I was only concerned that the thread was getting personal...I love EGRIZ...and I am donating a lot to this site....
email also gets personal...and I have made the wrong move a million times......we want to go outside and biff it out....
And in reality, we need to keep this site going at the highest level and clean up the emotional stuff....we can do that emotional stuff at the tailgates....I'll checkout the 40 times etc.....thank you for your research.....later BOB
ps...this is a damn good football program. There are a lot of damn good programs...we are lucky to have one of this caliber in such a super seting. /.....I think I have missed only 1 game in ten years...so I'm a Griz nut and a huge GSA supporter...I put my money where my mouh is...and guys like you might have a lot more football savvy than I. And, EGRIZ Chris would agree...lets keep the trash-talkin' to the field and the tailgates.

We do keep donation records and it appears that you have donated with your current username.

What would be easier for you to do, donate the tickets or the cash? If the tickets, I could try and sell them, and hopefully make some money off of them to help pay for the site :)
