Oregan Duck transfers to MSU

Get the low down on Griz Football and the FCS

In the meantime, I'm really encouraged by the way Ash is proactively working to get us there ... but I'm certainly not going to be throwing stones for a long time.

Ash has gotten off to a good start no question, but I think we would all agree that no coach can monitor 100 FB players 24/7. Both schools could use some luck where that is concerned. It hasn't always been players with track records who have gotten it trouble. One of the Griz FB players was a Class President, Honor Student, and son of a Federal Probabtion Officer, so one never knows. :twocents:

No smack here but I'm not so sure that signing a 5th/6th string Pac-10 QB is an "obvious quality signing", particularly when your QB position is already over crowded. I'd like to think the Big Sky Conference isn't that far down the food chain. Maybe Ash has plans to play him at a different position. If this kid can win waltz in and win the starting spot at QB, it doesn't say much for the other QB's on MSU's roster.

Maybe there is some underlying jealousy on behalf of the jizz. Seems to me that if the almighty cole were to go down, there is nothing substantiated to lean back on. Selle and Larson may be able to get the job done, but it remains to be seen.

Name a pussy QB that is proven in the BSC. It seems to me the Griz are ahead of you, AGAIN.

If Kempt were headed to Missoula and not Bozeman, the reaction from Griz fans would be nothing short of euphoria.

Do you really want to go there when you know full well there will be other players in trouble at msu in the future? Take your self righteous act to your own little board. But do come back when the next pussycat gets arrested, I will be waiting. :loser:

It seems to me 8 qb's on the roster indicates the coaching staff's lack of confidence in their ol's ability. But then I would suggest the msu coaches start recruiting an offensive line instead of fodder for their opponents defenses.

Ok lets make this clear. The Kid had a 3.6 GPA out of high school. Was a community leader while at Oregon. He was not kicked off the Football team, he left to get more playing time. His father played for the Cats in the late 1980's. He has not been kicked off his team, suspended, disciplined for breaking team rules, nor investigated by the NCAA. Furthermore he has never been arrested and he is on schedule to graduate. That is why he is allowed to be a Cat. Cat's do not have a problem with drop downs or JC's as long as those JC meet our standards. Those who don't meet these standards there is always the Griz.

From reading this it doesn't appear Oregon is too concerned he left. If Kramer was still there this kid would be hyped like another boobcat QB Legend, Farhad Azimi.

Kempt fell behind Justin Roper, never really did pass the injured Nate Costa, then fell behind incoming freshman Chris Harper and perhaps freshman Darron Thomas, too, and was probably neck-and-neck with BYU transfer Cade Cooper. And when the Ducks added junior college transfer Jeremiah Masoli a month ago, Kempt’s fate was all but sealed.

at this time i would like to congratulate the Cats on their latest QB acquisition. i'm sure his addition will benefit the Cat's program, as will other QB's recruited by the Cats in the next 3 mos..:thumb

i must admit that anything, Cat/Griz, that distresses Mr. ALTCAT just tickles me down to me toes!

as a cat fan this is embarassing. Shouldn't this be posted in the "smack" section? There are cat fans like myself that just want to relax and read up on what is going on in msla.

BTW if a fan of the griz posts this stuff on bn I am willing to bet you that he will have 5-6 posters telling him to "go to msla" or "go to egriz" :twocents:

Of those 8 qb's
(1) 3 are going to red shirt
(2) 3 are going to switch positions (desin(sp?), sullivan, and sombody else)
(3) starter is going to be either Rass or Iggins. Whoever ends up starting is going to be good according to what I saw at the scrimige

Of course I was joking, at least partially. It seems to me half of BN thinks Dessin is the man for QB, but he is too short to see over his linemen. If he moves to WR he might want to stay away from patterns over the middle. I am sure one of those guys will keep you guys in the top 5 of the BSC.

I think either Rass or Iddins, whoever starts,is going to be pretty close to all big sky. Rass has a good arm on him, Iddins less so but Iddins seems to be in the mold of lulay - with a better arm then TL

Dessin has a good arm and makes good decisions, but a lot of his passes were knocked down at the line of scrimige

All Big Sky? There are 2 returning all conference QB's at least so who are they going to beat out. If one of them is so good, how come no starter has emerged?
