Let's see, 8 QB's and counting. Must not be much there if you have to keep bringing them in. Too bad you lost all those schoolies due to academic issues within the program or you could go for a bakers dozen (that is 13 atlkitty)

What's the matter GB1? This new awesome addition get you riled up so much you started to stutter on your postings? :) :)

I would think 3 of those 8 are going to be playing other positions. Ahhhhh a smorgasboard of athletes to choose from. You gotta love that!

congrats Cats! there's that ole sayin over thar at bobkitty town, if at first you don't succeed - try - try - ...etc ...etc ...etc....again. they take this quite seriously when it comes to acquiring QB's. couldn't help but notice the new registration page for transfer, drop down, and adoptable QB's over on the Bobcat Athletics site. :thumb:

He says if you can't spell "Oregon" he's transfering to another school - with an English department.

Ok lets make this clear. The Kid had a 3.6 GPA out of high school. Was a community leader while at Oregon. He was not kicked off the Football team, he left to get more playing time. His father played for the Cats in the late 1980's. He has not been kicked off his team, suspended, disciplined for breaking team rules, nor investigated by the NCAA. Furthermore he has never been arrested and he is on schedule to graduate. That is why he is allowed to be a Cat. Cat's do not have a problem with drop downs or JC's as long as those JC meet our standards. Those who don't meet these standards there is always the Griz.

this whole drop down thing (the barb trading it has always been) was around before either school had these "thug" problems of late... it was a matter of one teams fans crying about drop downs vs. hs recruits
let's not forget that :thumb: :werd:

Yeah, I think MSU is about five years worth of seasons without any off-the-field and academic issues before we are in a position to be talking any smack on the topic.

In the meantime, I'm really encouraged by the way Ash is proactively working to get us there ... but I'm certainly not going to be throwing stones for a long time.

And I will also find amusement in those that talk smack about an obvious quality signing by MSU. That's one thing that smack is good for.

Ash has gotten off to a good start no question, but I think we would all agree that no coach can monitor 100 FB players 24/7. Both schools could use some luck where that is concerned. It hasn't always been players with track records who have gotten it trouble. One of the Griz FB players was a Class President, Honor Student, and son of a Federal Probabtion Officer, so one never knows. :twocents:

No smack here but I'm not so sure that signing a 5th/6th string Pac-10 QB is an "obvious quality signing", particularly when your QB position is already over crowded. I'd like to think the Big Sky Conference isn't that far down the food chain. Maybe Ash has plans to play him at a different position. If this kid can win waltz in and win the starting spot at QB, it doesn't say much for the other QB's on MSU's roster.

Maybe there is some underlying jealousy on behalf of the jizz. Seems to me that if the almighty cole were to go down, there is nothing substantiated to lean back on. Selle and Larson may be able to get the job done, but it remains to be seen.

Name a pussy QB that is proven in the BSC. It seems to me the Griz are ahead of you, AGAIN.
