Pate sentenced.

Jeremy Pate got 6 years probation on a plea bargain. No time in prison. They said he was very cooperative and was found to have had a very small part in the crime. Thus the light sentance.

Interesting. Pate's sentence, as well as the one for Coleman, seems to vindicate those of who actually read the original government affidavit and pointed out that Pate, Coleman and Shelton were all claiming not to have had significant roles in the break-in. If these guys had been carrying guns, using a taser, and roughing up the the house occupants, I don't think their sentences would have been so light.
