Not to bum you out or anything, but I was watching Tech TV the other day and they were saying that CD's and DVD's are not the long term media people think it is. They said that depending on the quality your music or movies will only last so long before it just disappears off the the disc. Great huh. all those pirated songs and they are going to disappear, oh well easy come easy go.
For those of you who don't like beautiful women and like to complain, click on ignore and don't read my posts. I don't have anything of interest for ewe types. That includes the "mods".

Yeah, but how easy it is to reburn before it goes bad.

Tech TV has some good shows.
As for the longevity of DVDs and CDs or lack there-of, thats why certain people make archival copies that they will never use unless the original fails. however the recording industry says its illegal and they try to make it as difficult as possible.
As the coach said in "Waterboy", "What momma don't know don't hurt momma.(and shows his Roy Oribson tatoo).
In other words the program called DVD Xcopy is great. i would recommend getting the gold version as it comes with the Xpress version as well as full version.
BTW, any chance of showing that 95 game on the Griz Vision ? it could be a fund raiser.

Just my 2 cents on getting free music, videos etc. I have come to realize everytime I receive something free that is not a gift, I will someday end up paying for it. For example, I borrowed, but actually stole some Vaurnet sunglasses about 10 years ago. Since then I have lost or broken about 10 pairs of Vaurnets and Smith sunglasses. I have more than paid for those glasses. You may say everyone losses sunglasses, so here is a better story. In late 2001 I bought a lap top from Best Buy for $1900.00 including warranty. In early 2002 I downloaded a bunch of music. In mid 2002, I accidently dropped the lap top and cracked monitor. My sales person, I felt had misled me to believe the monitor would be covered under warranty which was not true and the cost to replace monitor was going to be $2200. I am not joking. Even the Best Buy service people were surprised, but that is the way their warranty works. So I feel that bit of free music cost me a fortune. I suggest you test my theory in your own life to see if I am not completely bonkers. On a side note, I bought my next lap top from Circuit City and they do warrant the kind of damage I did to my first lap top and Best Buy has ignored every letter I have written. I also have a lap top for sale-really cheap and it includes some downloaded music. Go Griz

just to clarify, this is for DVDs i own. I don't contribute to copying and selling those copys. I think that it would be wrong if(no make that when) an expensive DVD breaks(lets say its part of the LOTRs) and in order to replace it i'd have to buy the whole thing just because it cracked taking it out of the case.
As for copying music i see they're cracking down pretty hard on the Kazza sharers. In essense, buying and sellling used CDs should be the same to the Music labels as they don't make money on the used product that is re-sold, only the re-seller does...and more than on the new version by the way.

Why is it that we only have the 2001 National Championship Game, available for purchase, on a DVD, and not the 1995 game? I've been told that Georgia Southern has all six of their's in a DVD Box Set.
It would be great to have the '95 game on a DVD, and I'm sure alot of Griz fans that don't have a tape of our first National Championship would gladly pay for one if it was available. I'd buy it just to watch the hit Blaine McElmurray (sp) put on Erik Wright.
