I think Az, is posting this because today GGG, had deleated some of his posts ... I could be wrong but I have never heard of this here and I know that there is no way that you can pick up anything by making a post. Az, also states that the other site is so much more professionally run and it is loaded with discriminating posters... Hell if thats the case please stay there do not return.. I don't think you would be missed and it will only be time befor you will run into the same there... I have been there and you are not liked there much eather people just put up with you...

I really don't know if the allegations are true or not...but I suppose one can infer that since I am posting this here that I sincerely doubt it. I am no lawyer, but I would have to think that if there is no basis to the allegations that AZgriz ought to consider any legal repercussions that could ensue before pulling a prank like that. Now that egriz seems to be creating some advertising revenue, one could probably argue that unfounded accusations designed to keep people away from egriz are depriving the site of revenue.
As anyone who has visited any Griz message board knows by now, AZ claims to have deep pockets--in addition to being the most handsome and athletic person to even think about visiting the state of Montana. Might be an interesting target for a lawsuit.
It could also be he really did get a virus though. Many viruses going around on the internet will spoof the from email address to include a random domain, for example @microsoft.com or @egriz.com or wherever, making it look like it came from a legitimate company, when of course it didn't. I've in the past received email that looked like it came from my email address and was just either spam or a worm, so its not too rare. To someone who just uses a computer every once in a while they may actually think that the virus originated from the email address in the from field.
If he is just making it up, its a pretty crappy thing to do that's for sure. If he does really have a virus though hopefully he'll be able to get it cleaned off of his system without it damaging any files.
I in no way want to seem like I am out to get Az, I am very upset at his post on the other board. He stated he recieved it when he posted on egriz not when he opened an email.. now if he wants to come clean and restate what he said and tell us that it was when he opened an email then I could understand.. but what he stated was that some one on here gave it to him when he was posting.. from what I understand that person could only be GGG or Chris (egriz) ... and I know that did not happen... also... he then goes on to attack egriz... and it's posters... If you look at all his posts.. when ever the topic of sensorship comes up Az is the first to complain.. today he had a post or two removed for what ever reason.. but so did others.. so as it is right now with what is in front of me and what he has said is that egriz.. gave it to him or and this is what I believe is that he is pissed and is gitting even with egriz for the delete of his posts....I did not post a rebuttal but should have.. and may so still .. you can see the post on the other board the UOMB ...

Yeah, its possible he's just posting that in retaliation for some of his posts being deleted. I hope he's not that vindicative though. The way he described how he got the virus could also just mean he's confused about how he got it. For anyone who's not too knowledgable about computers sometimes its hard to determine what exactly caused the virus to infect your computer. He may have just posted something, then noticed some popups that were caused by the virus/spyware/whatever and thought it was because of the site he was on at the time. Hard to know...
i was sent some of the trojans/worms/etc that az mentioned and that were mentioned over a month ago on this site.
Whats ironic is that one came from GGG himself.
Well, i know i can be annoying, but i know that trojan emails is not GGG's style so i knew right away something was amiss. somehow the IP address does go back to him, though i think it was spoofed.
Without going into geek-like description just know that people out there can find out things about you and use it against you.
and as time goes on we'll need to know a little more each year to protect our computers from malicious deeds.
OH, BTW, for those of you who got virus email from my web address....it wasn't me that sent it. That ain't my style either. I'd more likely send you a picture of bobcat if i wanted to be real mean.

the best way to fight against this is to get Norton Antivirus. Set it up so it scanns your incoming emails. It will delete all mail that has a virus. This is the reason I didn't know about the problem. I was receving the emails but Norton was just deleting them, therefore I didn't know about them!
norton is great. i use Macafee and wished i had norton, though i remember that certain things get messed up with norton...but that was a few versions ago and i would bet they have since worked out the bugs.
